Hope Stake can create a Telegram group

I saw that people can see stake from different social media such as facebook and twitter. Aside from the forum there is also blog which I just recently saw. 

I don’t know if that blog is even active. 

We all know that one of the biggest thing now is Telegram. How about creating a telegram group (for new invites or announcement purposes)

For invites: 

The best invititation is through word of mouth and can easily be access by others since this also one of the most well known used by crypto people to gather in.

For Announcement;

Stake can also use telegram by means of announcing events, wins or anything related.

Some people do not log in their social media but I believe that most people uses their telegram. Why don’t stake come give it a try?

But sure why not:) Someone can create then add others but mostly wants some privacy:)

It’s really up to the user if they want to be keep their life private. Anyways what I was suggesting is announcement purposes or invite purposes like the one the crypto does since stake doesn’t really have much of a social media that promotes itself. 

I think that privacy isn’t an issue here😄

i dont even know what the telegram is.. and after i tried to register i'd say i don't like it because it ask for my phone number. also i see you metion it is the biggest one right now so i try to google it a bit.. the result is surely far from the 'biggest' https://www.statista.com/statistics/258749/most-popular-global-mobile-messenger-apps/

i do see and support the decision to create one tho

Biggest and well known app to cryptocurrency. I guess you probably haven’t join ICO or airdrops. One of the most requirement social media aside from twitter and facebook.

The mean concerns will be that it take time to maintain and be active for the Stake team on another social media. And Telegram can't be a "once in a time during the day" thing since it will be use by crypto-people to share affiliate links, scams & co. It's a network were you need to be very active.

Plus it will be a place who can bring people out of Stake's chat in some ways, like Discord was, or the chat need to be the main place where our community speak & co. 

An announcement channel like some ICO or coins have could be a middle ground between time to invest and avoiding to split the convos between our users. Dunno.

Well can be an announcement purposes only. I wasn’t referring to a chit chat on telegram. As you can see that well known social media on stake are twitter and facebook (recently added) 

What is posted on Twitter and on Facebook can be posted on the announcement section too (means less work, more exposure) 

I dunno if you saw the stake twitter but most of the time it does have some small giveaways where only few people saw it and sometimes late too.

Im using the desktop PC version of Telegram.

Remember that users like me are not counted in that stat cause we are not mobile users.....

I see no problem with this, and since the proposal is "for announcements purposes", then only a "channel" is needed. But yes, additional work for the team, but really not much work here, so still good alternative to the announcement being posted on the forum. And I think, it is also a good way to attract more players, as most crypto-people are accessing Telegram everyday.

If it is limited to members who match some criteria like, 100 forum posts, VIP's, etc would reduce spams and circulation of ponzi schemes.

tbh there's nothing stopping someone from creating an 'unofficial telegram group'. and maybe posting it here. This would reduce the burden on the staff/mods as it doesn't need to be officially moderated, but still allow everyone to be able to group chat when in telegram. 

Then again, I think stake chat is basically one massive stake chat group ; and that is pretty awesome, so maybe a telegram group would not be as wortwhile. 

I think the main advantage of telegram group would be to connect with people via telegram from the group so you can easily exchange telegram  ;but when I've wanted to do that in the past I've just asked friends etc on here directly (but you just have to remember to log out when drinking, or delete chat history, so you can't easily contact - so you dont harrass people too much   )

Interesting idea though. But I think speaking from my point of view, if I've got time to check into telegram group stake chat, I'd have time to check into Stake chat proper, so I'd just check in to stake chat to see what everyone is upto!
