Feedback on Stake.com Promotions and Suggestions for Improvement

Dear Stake, @Edward, @AleksandarZ, and @Nenad

I wanted to provide some feedback on the latest promotions available on Stake.com. I have noticed that some of the promotions are becoming less attractive in terms of the prize amounts.

For example, the SvE promo prize has been steadily decreasing, and the latest one was only $18. Similarly, the Level Up promo voucher almost never recovers the amount spent to achieve all the multis, and the VIP promos are only worthwhile for those in top positions. Even the coupons for those outside of the top positions are getting extremely low.

I have noticed that other platforms are replicating some of these promos, but their vouchers are much bigger due to the fact that they make them harder to achieve or grant bigger prizes.

I would like to request that you consider making some changes to the promotions to make them more attractive:

Keep the budget for SvE but move the minimum requirement from 300x to 500x. This would make it harder to achieve but increase the coupon significantly, as $18 is not a worthwhile prize.

Keep the budget for Level Up but add two more slots to achieve (240x and 280x), making it a total of seven multis required.

Remove the extra prize from the VIP Original Challenge ($50), as it does not make much difference, and use the budget to increase the coupon shared between stakers who are not in the top 20.

Increase the minimum bet for the VIP Slot challenge from $0.20 to $0.40 or double the budget.

I believe that these changes would make the promotions more attractive, and I hope that you will consider them.

I think the prizes have remained the same since the beginning, yet Stake itself has increased in size multi-fold. 

Kind of like the weekly raffle, until only recently has increased the number of winners from 10 to 15.

Prizes (or pot available) could be increased in-line with the sites exponential growth. 

I think the requirements themselves are about right.

The fact that you're even suggesting moving some of the promo-money around (these are all peanuts) is hilarious to me

Look what they paid streamers to promote Stake, anything less than 1mio is practically change for them.

Stake is enormously profitable (which might have something to do with the fact that the product Stake is selling is inherently addictive and therefore illegal in most parts of the world)

They could quintuple every single one of those prizes - and it wouldn't even make a dent in their profits (it might actually boost them even more)

Why they won't do it? Greed. Incompetence. Fundamental misunderstanding of why they are successful. Pick one (or two). It's the same reason behind why they're still picking out bets per hand for board challenges (instead of writing simple code to automate it) - They just don't care that much about what's happening here, they're drowning in money. (not unlike other "business"-ventures in the world that deal in inherent addictive and illegal practices - mexican drug cartels for example - who I think are morally quite comparable to Stake's shareholders)

40 Cents per bet? I tried last promotion and couldn't receive a 300x in 12k spins. Have fun

It would be better that they make the challenges harder but increase the budget.

For example the challenge for this week on the vip level is to get a 7x on dragon tower with $1 bet, that is easy, it should be harder.

i agree with you on everything you said. additionally, i somewhat struggle with the irregularities of the payout lately. almost every week, i have to contact support because there were errors in the evaluation and i have to wait longer. also - and i know it says 72hrs after the ending - sometimes coupons arrive in the morning, sometimes in the evening, sometimes a day later. 

 

i can live with that, but the feeling of having errors in the evaluation - as in i have to contact the support, really grinds my gears. 

 

also youre right, the payout does not justify the risk, mostly. still waiting for my 17 dollars from support  

 

edit: we poor peeps always have to stalk aleksandars forum profile to see if he is on shift and evaluationg the promotions, so we can hope that the prizes are around the corner 🥹

Also this, you need to keep your bet id's in case they just don't have in the database.

 

and even if you keep your bet id's the live support will tell you this.

Agree completely with you @xrflive this recent SvE prize was a bit dissappointing

They already upped the multipliers on level up by huge amount, it used to be

20x, 40x, 60x, 80x and 100x

Instead of making it more challenging(i think they are pretty challenging even with 10c bets), they should just raise the prize pool.Since more people are doing em, they are making more bank at the end of the day.

i had a similar thing, i could not find certain bets in my bet archives. they forwarded this to the tech team, which makes me wonder if that could be the reason that promo payouts are sometimes faulty

Can only second this topic. It would be great if @AleksandarZ or @Edward could comment on this thread. The promotion rewards are getting smaller and smaller, since a lot more players are participating in them. The rewards have gotten to a point where it's not worth it to play the promotions anymore.
