Yes, do streak-skipping and don't always chase the streak. 

For simple example, If you chasing 2x multi, and have a bankroll to cover 8 loss streak during martingale session, stop when you lose 4 in a row, next, you bet is 0 bet size until you win. Once you win, bet with the size that continue your martingale session.
