Are streamers really worth the money Stake spends on them

Reading the amounts streamers get for promoting Stake makes me wonder how Stake pays for it.  This trainwreck guy claims he got 250000000 from Stake. The crowd he's attracting are most of all normal people who wager like 100k or less a year. That are a lot of new players to be paid from the house edge.
