thejunespirit Posted May 15, 2023 #1 Posted May 15, 2023 There's a federal investigation into football match fixing in Brazil right now, interesting stuff. This thread explains it well - 120 confirmed players apparently, and referees too. Top tier leagues too.Keep this in mind with sports betting. Happens in all sports, don't get me started on the European table tennis Stake has 24/7. It's a lot easier with solo sports too. Stake has previously claimed that they will refund players if a match is found to have been fixed. I highly doubt that has ever happened. As I say, something to keep in mind, corruption everywhere when money is involved.
Big Dallas Posted May 16, 2023 #2 Posted May 16, 2023 Yeah match fixing really sucks. But I would like to have a real source one of these days. Easy cheesy money won't hurt

Easy cheesy money won't hurt It is way harder than it seems to get inside information. Even if you do, big name casinos will often void or cancel the bets if there is lopsided action on one side in an obscure match. But if your are on the wrong side of fixed matches they won't care typically.
