I try to buy one for years but the price is often too expensive for a book we can't read 😛 The Codex Seraphinianus is an illustrated encyclopedia of an imaginary world (created in 1976-1978 and published in 1981). One of the particularity is that it's written in a cipher alphabet in a constructed language. Another one is that it's hand-drawn, colored-pencil illustrations of bizarre and fantastical flora, fauna, anatomies, fashions, and foods.
