Burnitdafrog Posted May 28, 2023 #6 Posted May 28, 2023 If anyone wishes to have a serious conversation on the subject, It would be my pleasure to share my wisdom. Meaning no disrespect, this is anecdotal information being provided. Opinions, where one agrees or disagrees, are restrictive and leave very little room for thought to blossom. and I am all about brain bombing. "Never gamble when you're angry." It is sound advice, and technically correct. Coolers are real. They exist. Here among us right now. Maybe inside of our own homes and negate the effects of luck in a number of different ways. But that's not a story for today. personally I would eliminate "Never" from the sentence, and say "It is unwise to take risks when your judgement is compromised." and I say it like that because, a few years back I won $23,000 And that was the beginning of the most incredible hot steak and what was the second longest period of prolonged anger I had ever experienced. Two years it to recover. During this period I got my first and thankfully final taste for playing to lose. which if you are yet unfamiliar with the mental aspects, I wish you never have to experience it for yourself. the first three months of that were what could have been the luckiest period of my life, but I was to enraged and focused on self destructing to do anything meaningful with my good fortune, and have absolutely nothing to show for it today. This is but page in the tome of my wisdom (and if you're a high roller unimpressed by the amount, well the feelings mutual. Your money doesn't impress me either. mmkay?
