It's all psychological, they know most people will push for the next tier once within 10% but 10% of £1M is £100,000 still required to wager. Then they'll happily payout £1k but you'd probably have to spend £10k to get the 10% and most will lose from that £10k so it's basically a well marketed scam. When you break down the wagering and losses etc. That bonus always feels underwhelming no matter your vip tier.
