Live Chat back in the days

Hey y'all! Fellow OG stake user here. I've seen this platform grow a lot over the years, and I've seen a lot of changes to the site layout, design, the rules enforced in chat, and so on. I thought I'd take you all on a little journey back in time and you can see how the live support used to be back then!

 

Please note this isn't me hating on any support agent in the past or criticizing any of their work. it is simply fun to see how support agents used to act in the past versus standards that have been set now by senior support administrators ( remember me Jovan? )

Some newer stake users may also learn about a few things that stake had in the past that I remember fondly!

Here's a conversation from 136 weeks ago ( Around october 2020 ). You had to request for your statistics manually, where you'd see your profits and losses in the day/week/month!

 

Here's a conversation from around 132 weeks ago, showcasing that support staff really wanted you to gamble more! I'm just kidding, but it's interesting to see that there wasn't any guidelines on encouraging people to gamble or not

We KNEW our support agents! Back then, it was a limited number of people, so conversations felt more personal, as we knew who were talking to and the conversations we've had with them. We were able to have more informal conversation than ever

 

They had issues renewing their gambling license a while back, and they used GIFs for general conversation! Pfft

I'm sorry if this post is pointless to some people, but I reminisce HARD with these as these bring back memories of how I used to be when i gambled

Some more fun facts about the OG stake

- We had rains periodically by many people, and the way to be eligible was to simply chat! No wagering, nothing

- We had the option to private message users on the chat, which was awesome

- We had only one chatroom and around 500 active users at once speaking with each other. High rollers were considered bettors of over $100 haha

- You used to get paid to do forum posts! The more you responded here, and the more active you were, you'd get paid in satoshis to post

- The initial currencies when I joined was BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, BCH, and XRP. There's so much more now!

- Stake only had the stake originals games as part of their casino and NOTHING ELSE. No live games, no partnered games. We were all hyped up when the first game of SLOTS was released, the pharaoh one. That was probably what we called the best addition. Now, the industry is huger than ever with so many games and even sportsbetting

 

What do y'all think? I wish some OGs would reply to this post so I can catch up with them. I've just applied to be a sports chat moderator on this forum, so let's see how that goes! My rep precedes my time here, as I've done some crazy stuff in this website, but we'll see
