Mackyrivera Posted April 16, 2018 #1 Posted April 16, 2018 I have learned that in pd there is no limit on tip, so i am asking why here on stake there is a barrier on tip? Maybe admins should reconsider tuning up the tip limit a bit if not completely removed. just a suggestion it will surely benefit a lot of players as fees are rising and consider the slowness of blockchain for some instance..
Eugene265 Posted April 16, 2018 #4 Posted April 16, 2018 Im totally agree with it,cause for some lenders 0.2btc such a small amount per day. Make it much bigger please. Thanks!

ravenyvolle2 Posted April 16, 2018 #6 Posted April 16, 2018 make it 2 btc a day hehe 0.2 for big tippers is not enough of course. I hope they will look after this.
Sefan Posted April 16, 2018 #7 Posted April 16, 2018 well for bigger loans why dont just deposit directly to there address instead of tipping, i assume that there is a reason for a 0.2 btc limit

wry Posted April 16, 2018 #9 Posted April 16, 2018 I was surprised when I first learned of the tip limit here. I could not figure out why unless maybe it was aimed at alts or something. However, I can't see why alts would be a bigger problem here than at PD. Anyway, I'd be interested in if there was a reason and what it is, and unless it makes a lot of sense, get rid of the daily tip limit! Especially when you have really generous users who want to share and can't because of it.

lupandina Posted April 17, 2018 #11 Posted April 17, 2018 I think, it was supposed to do long time ago. Lenders have problems, when need to send or receive money, we forced to make withdrawals to customers depo addresses (and checking everytime trx through pm's, which payment is from who or to who). I can only imagine, how hard is for mods or support, when they need, f.e., pay giveaways! I can't understand, why tip limit is necessary at all? Coins are still in Stake, they don't go anywhere outside....

Totally agree. ✌ It would be a great if Stake removes the Tip Limit. We can send how much we want, whenever we want! 😂😂😂😂
ravenyvolle2 Posted April 17, 2018 #14 Posted April 17, 2018 It is best if you guys will look after this:) @Vladimir @Milan @Dan @Edward
HumberRolls Posted April 17, 2018 #15 Posted April 17, 2018 i vote +1 for this suggestions , i say increase tip limit depending on the level of each user

Baecon Posted April 20, 2018 #18 Posted April 20, 2018 Maybe they just limit the tip so big players wont abuse it to transfer acc to acc

I mean, funds are still in Stake. And if needed, just withdrawal from one acc to other's depo address might be done, but it causes fees and time...
nadiya14 Posted April 22, 2018 #20 Posted April 22, 2018 i agree with this increasing tip limit will make thing to some people easier!!

So they keep transferring and transferring money. There's no bad problem at that. That's just my opinion why the tip limit is only at 0.2BTC
Dan Posted April 23, 2018 #22 Posted April 23, 2018 The main instance for tip limits being hit is because of the use of bank accounts. We are working on releasing a bank feature with complete security to avoid the majority of cases where tip limit is reached. Tips need some limiting on them because there's a significant amount of tipping occurring and a lot of it is unnecessary. Tips use resources to to handle processing funds around, and we want to try and reduce the resources being consumed where possible. I hope this has answered your question.
