I have been online close to every day for the past 2 years. Average daily online/chattingtime of 12-16 hours.

Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?

A moderators job is to make sure that stake.com users stick to the rules and community guidelines that are provided by stake and apply on all chats of stake.com. Furthermore, a moderator resolves issues regarding the communitychat, on the stake.com chat aswell as on the community forums. The Moderator also responds to forum appeals regarding mutes/warnings given out to users on the chat rooms, explaining the cause of the mute and how to avoid it in the future.

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?

Alltought i did not want to become a moderator here at first, because i know about the possible headaches that can come along with a sidejob like this, i have now still decided to apply for this position since i've been noticing less activity from moderators overall lately. Sometimes(mostly at nighttimes) the chat is completely unmoderated for shorter&longer periods of time, yet it clearly is in desperate need of moderation. Thankfully, here and there a mod from a different chat comes along to help out with the German moderator shortage and mutes some critical user messages. Yet i think, that this really can't be a long-term solution. Stake is constantly running on my second screen anyway, so i thought, i might as well just apply.

I do love betting on this platform and I'm online close to every day, being a very active community member in the german chat. I love chatting and sharing with people and i also do that on the turkish and english chats from time to time, since i do speak all of those languages fluently.

i have indeed been warned a single time on this forum and got muted a couple of times on the german chat because of some minor felonies 😁 one could argue these mutes made me read and respect the rules even more. 😆

Peaceful interaction is important , jokes can be made but you should still always behave. 

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?

I am self-employed and have to deal with people every day and also know how to deal with them.The German chat room has grown enormously, new players join every day.Of course not everyone respects the rules is to see ahead. the mods can not be online 24 hours a mod more would help that all feel comfortable, no begging and scam place and politely reminded of the rules.

Should I become mod I will act fairly and not favor anyone . Who violates rules must deal with the consequences.

Mainly I would try to stop the begging and the intrusive asking for money or messages that you have no more money you are "bust" to get a donation.

Also the repeated asking for "Where anything " " Where luck " or other things that indicate you have no balance and need a donation I would immediately mute. You can write it once but not repeatedly all day. 

Insults would not be tolerated . Everyone should be treated with respect .

yes I'm registered since 2021 in May and yes I was also warned once and muted , I have changed my behavior completely, that have also all in the chat notice. I am since my last mute, which is a long time ago a peaceful user. I like to make jokes that of course do not go below the belt line and I am also open to many jokes. As I said that was a long time ago and was at the beginning of my stake time. You get older and accordingly one behaves of course.

I have never been a moderator in a forum,however I know how this job works . It's like working life when you are self-employed. You want to keep order in your store. I have to say that has already been described very well. To my knowledge, I think abstaining from doing things and making the right decisions independently according to specifications is the right way to implement what you want.

Mainly monitoring the chat and it's conversations to ensure that everyone follows the chat's rules and guidelines, with the authority to warn, mute and ban users who violate those. It's also VERY important for a Mod to promote a positive and respectful atmosphere without any bias.

Even tho we have a proper list of moderators already in our chat, i feel like there's a lack of Mod presence throughout the day (or at least during my time online), and since i'm already spending alot of time in this chat, i might aswell spend it serviceably. I'm also happy to help chatters out with their questions, even without the M badge already

I have in fact been muted already (for minor stuff like an off-topic link or a ☔ in the Chat) , which surely made me study the german Chat rules to their fullest 😏

I used to moderate multiple Twitch streamer's chats (500 viewers +) until they stopped streaming eventually, currently i'm moderating a Microsoft Teams Server with over 100 Users (work related) and a smaller Discord Server.
