5ive7 Posted July 16, 2023 #1 Posted July 16, 2023 I've been playing on Stake for approximately 5 years, with thousands and thousands of dollars bet each week. Each week, I have one thing in common with everyone of you reading this... I DON'T WIN EVER! My theory is that only certified members can win. It's almost statistically improbable at this point that not a single one of my tickets has won. Meanwhile, the same people win 2-3 entries per week. I think tickets should be limited on a per week basis so the max number of tickets you can have, which equals out with everyone else and you'll have a larger variety of players and significantly more incentive for the rest of the player pool to engage in this promotion. Thoughts???

Every week. For 260 weeks in a row. in this 5 years you would have wagered 1.000.000.000 $ - which would make you an obsidian VIP. i know its frustrating to never win this raffle. I think its frustrating too. I wagered more than 1.4 mio last 30 days - and ive never won shit! Bit there are people out there wagering my monthly in just a single hour. Every DAY! so calm your titties and stop expecting raffle wins 🙂

Please be aware that I was extremely lucky to be able to wager such an insane amount. I won big and it kept going. It is not possible to wager the "required" amount if you are an average joe, which I include myself in, unless you are on a luck streak straight from heaven. I´m all for more chances to people such as myself, but I just can´t see stake doing that since they would lose quite a bit of money by doing so. Whales can wager ludicrous amounts of money, whereas I would be hesitant to spent 1k of my own money.

I'd love to win sure, but I am attempting to make an argument for the promotion that would help stake AND incentivize additional players to at least make the "max entries" that I am suggesting. The people that are winning multiple times per week do not care about the 5k$ -- It is probably about 3-4 spins. However, on the flip side, us casuals and medium betters (2-10$ per spin) would absolutely target the max cap every week for a chance to win 5k$. That 5k$ is about a week of playtime for this bracket. So a limit of 1000-2500 tickets per week per player would make all the sense in the world from a marketing perspective. Conclusion / Theory - Whales aren't going anywhere anyway, the $5k doesn't help them at all, the lower bet players are happier with equal chances to win, stake profits from additional incentives given to medium players that make up probably 85-90% of their base. Any chime-ins?

Smallacus Posted July 17, 2023 #14 Posted July 17, 2023 Another suggestion could be splitting into separate giveaways. For example 1-1000 tickets puts you in a 5k raffle 1000+ tickets excludes you from 5 k raffle but put into bigger raffle. Incentivising and rewarding both whales and casuals

Shit ton got my buddy to start playing about a month ago he is plat 1 had 11 tickets and won but I’ve had 500-1000 tickets and never won shits whack but that put my mind at ease having him win knowing someone that won the raffle good for him and he didn’t give me a dime of the winnings, (what a friend) 😂 -Ainsleyjune stake
