Monthly bonus inconsistencies

Im not even excited for this "bigger" august monthly bonus they are promising, after what happened to me in June and July... here is proof that bonus calculations are manipulated

I am Platinum 3, my wagering habits are very consistent each month - I don't change between slots and originals (i know people say bonus is calculated less on originals wagering rather than slots etc.)

June 2023 monthly bonus: $420k wagered and +1k PnL for the month. I got $337 monthly bonus for these stats, which im not complaining about because because i was in profit for the month, however July is where it gets crazy:

July 2023 monthly bonus: $619k wagered but -$18.5k PnL for the month. I got $649 monthly bonus for these stats. So i LOST $19.5k more than previous month, and wagered 200k more than the previous month but only get $300 more? Really? There is just no possible way the bonuses are calculated with the same formula.

I have many platinum friends on stake, and i asked them about their monthly bonus amount and stats. Many plat 3's got around $400-500 bonus with half or 1/3 of my wager, and they had minimal losses, some were even in profit for the month. Even before we got the July monthly i showed my statistics to many plat 3/4 and they all guessed i would get at minimum $1k-1.5k monthly for 620k wagered 18.5k loss. Also I wasn't eligible for a lossback bonus for losing 18.5k in july as you need to be P4 to get this (which also doesn't make sense)

People might say "Christmas in July" event had something to do with this, but I don't see how that is relevant as that event was the most underwhelming, overhyped, and overpromised promo in a while. What did we get extra for that? a couple of $5 codes that require $10k to claim in the first place? (if were wagering 10k i can guarantee your losing a lot more than a $5). Doesn't seem like much of a bonus or additional gift.

Oh and the twitter giveaways that are won by bots who spam tag stake twitter page 24/7? I don't even think i have to say much about this as its self explanatory

I tried talking to support but as usual they just copy/pasted a generic response: "I've checked the calculation and you've received the correct amount for the monthly bonus from what I can see."

Any follow up questions i had were not addressed but i just got more generic responses.

Anyways, that's my rant I just had to put this out here for anyone getting their hopes up for August bonuses - prepare to be disappointed.

I hope I'm wrong about, and tbh i feel like Stake can really make up for the negative backlash they have been receiving in the past 3-6 months if they can actually give their players something that actually feels like a BONUS for their birthday month thats being hyped up.

They hype it up saying more than usual monthly bonus… but at the end, it will be the same or even less and people will complaint how low their monthly bonus is.. stake loves to troll and lie to their players!

@ivanb7991you couldn't be more in the right!! 

It is MORE then frustrating!! My husband has been playing stake for more than three plus years and they did him so dirty, they even took away his VIP host, because he spoke up about these inconsistencies and was having many of the same issues as yourself, and he is plat 3 also. It's total bullshit. Now, when I first started playing my monthly was a lot more, now it's only like a few dollars, and some change and at first I was wagering enough for the bonus codes and then the fkg wager requirements got so high even my husband could barely fkg claim them! And he plays waaaaay more then myself. Needless to say we both understand your frustration with this unnecessary hyped up fabrication of total and utter bullshit and I agree 150% with you on the fact that August bonus (their birthday month) is going to be more of the same, and not anything about what a bonus should be and used to be. I'm so sorry for what happened to you as well. It's super disheartening. And the worst part is I doubt that they are even going to do anything about it. I'm thinking I may go somewhere else full time. Thanks for speaking up about your experience.

Yes it was super frustrating and when i claimed my bonus i literally laughed out loud because it actually felt like a joke. I honestly just don't see how they expect to grow their community or sustain their loyal players the way things are going.

& yes I also doubt they will do anything about this as like I said messaging support about this is just pointless. If I do somehow get compensated for this It would honestly change my opinion and maybe intice me to stay on stake.

However I don't know any other way to go about getting this looked into by someone other than support. If you have any suggestions let me know.

Yeah kinda messed up getting 650 on that loss with that wager. We seen these threads popping up more and more lately obviously they changed calculations/ capped levels... 

I personally dont have a problem with getting lowered bonuses for me it is the hyping up shit promotions that get me super tilted. Like this July christmas shit. That was without hesitation the worst promotion I ever seen online not only on Stake. It was like a shady un licensed basement company set it up... Or not even a company like that would have had such a horrible promotion....The ending was a big big suprise, "we will give 10 people 500 each on twitter" MY GOD! 

But they just dont care anymore, they care about new players and Kick thats all old loyal Stake customers they give jack about. And thats just sad.

I said it once, will say it again. Ever since Kick and Drake, the bonuses have become so much worse. Its not even funny, its sad because I like kick as a streaming platform. But we are the reason stake exists, the people that play. Somehow we getting fucked over because they wanna put money else where. Its sad really

Same here they're not consistent. Now my bonuses are getting lower and lower and lower even my wager are higher than before but the bonus is lesser. They should fix this

You do know that your monthly isn’t calculated only with amount of wager, right?

It wasn't a non-sequitur.   Your post implies that you don't think monthly bonuses should be manipulated, and that you uncovered some sort of scandal by proving they are.

I asked how you thought they were calculated.  As in, before you realized that they are "manipulated".  

My question did include a bit of sarcasm, but still a direct response to your post, thus not a non-sequitur.  

What I was implying is that of course they're "manipulated".  They give out bonuses because they consider them profitable investments, that's how businesses work.  They adjust the calculations all the time to see what works and what doesn't.  This is just common sense.

Its so rigged.. when u bet big and lose quickly u can’t wager, so on top off losing big u get fkd with the bonus.. it should be more inverted and more connected to loss imho

Agreed and am in same boat and experiencing the same things. Not to mention my VIP host it utterly useless. 

$337k people wagered down $70k YTD and $4100 on month, monthly was $220 Plat 4 😂😂😂😂
