I would stop playing any of the originals. The only way you will hit 1000x is if you lose a lot of money, then lower your bet size, and magically you will get the 1000x.

So the key is, play for a long time, lose lots and lots of money. Then reduce your bet-size by 90%, And magic, you'll hit that 1000x soon after

Friendly advice to everyone... Don't keep track of your dropped plinko balls. It just messes up your head and is useless. 

It will drop at some point like either after 5 or 5000 balls it doesn't matter.
