xia15 Posted August 29, 2023 #26 Posted August 29, 2023 This is a nightmare. Be careful next time and dont just click links. Follow the advice here to activate 2FA. Hope the support can do something about it.
oPartial Posted August 29, 2023 #27 Posted August 29, 2023 That bonus email is definitely fake or spoofed - did you click on that link? Could even ask support to verify that if you want to know. Going to guess you’ve clicked on that link, allowed someone access - 2FA kicked in for withdrawals/tips so they’ve just max bet spun it on a game til it lost just to be a dick. And before you ask; Stake ain’t refunding that if you’ve been phished - because then everyone would just max bet their balance and claim they were phished also. it’s just a case of sadness.
Maxbet1 Posted August 29, 2023 Author #28 Posted August 29, 2023 Bonus email was exactly stake looking and had my user name. Stake confirmed. So I was phished. I just can't get over this. I am in huge red already on stake @Shaque anyway dealing with this? I know funds are gone but idk what to do man @Zamia2001they said I cant. Some one hacked and blew my balance. Sad world we live in
juventini548 Posted August 31, 2023 #29 Posted August 31, 2023 Careful and beware when receive anonymous email
psighcho1 Posted August 31, 2023 #30 Posted August 31, 2023 Did you use some third party software like autoclickers or bots? That happened to me twice in two different years apart first was because I used some autoclicker on my pc and the same happened. I had bets a different Stake Original games which I didn't make. Second, I have no idea how was the hacker able to get into my account but I was witnessing the whole thing I can on that time how my balance comes out from the vault so I kept on depositing it back to the vault I thought it was some bug until finally he was able to withdraw all of my balances. But what I learned is that never leave huge balances at stake and always withdraw them to your secured wallet second always have 2fa enabled. Securing your account is your responsibility stake won't help you even if you can prove it wasn't you who placed the bets or withdrew the money.
oyama25 Posted August 31, 2023 #32 Posted August 31, 2023 I hope the problem is resolved... why do receive Emails everytime?
RxK Posted September 1, 2023 #34 Posted September 1, 2023 It's all very strange. Is it possible to hack 2FA?

blinc555 Posted September 1, 2023 #36 Posted September 1, 2023 holy, that's huge amount, scary even to think about the situation. I wonder how they got his e-mail address to send a phishing link. Hope no once falls for such trap.
Fatma1281 Posted September 1, 2023 #37 Posted September 1, 2023 I have doubts, it doesn't seem convincing to me As far as I understand, there was no 2FA in your account, the person who wanted to hack you could have withdrawn that money directly to their own account instead of printing the money and losing it, they hacked your mail without losing it, after all, but for some reason, the hacker prefers to lose the money, it seemed a little strange to me here by the way, don't get me wrong, it's just my mind, it's still sad
dayat199 Posted September 1, 2023 #38 Posted September 1, 2023 Be careful and responsible for our account

All I want is level up and cashout and forget stake. I am 1.49 percent away from plat 4 but my account is on restricted mode Hi. saturday i found on my loggin session a ip from Turkey, so that means someone has logged in on my account from there. I never clicked a phishing link or something like this, also i have 2fa acctivated. so still dont know how that was posible. I contacted support and they put my account on witdrawal mode until i send everything what they ask to prof that is my account. You should contact [email protected] and you will receive a email with all the details you need to prove you are the owner of that account. If you send and you are the owner of the account they will reopen your account and you can pass the rest % of your lvl. Good luck Everyone should check their Sessions Loggin, to so if they have problems with their account.
Fatma1281 Posted September 1, 2023 #40 Posted September 1, 2023 that's exactly what I do bro, I check the sessions at every login, I log out of the redundant sessions, I use 2fa, the security of the account belongs to us, it is important to pay attention

And they have restricted my account cause some hacker got access to my account. Even after proving all the original details and KYC they still disabled my account. What to do now ?
malahaygg Posted September 14, 2023 #44 Posted September 14, 2023 why would hacker gamble away your balance though that doesn't make any sense, I'd understand if they withdrew the money.Either stake fucking up some customers or you're lying.mind boggling
alexander_3000 Posted September 14, 2023 #45 Posted September 14, 2023 I'm sorry to hear about your experience. That's frustrating.

Maxbet1 Posted September 23, 2023 Author #47 Posted September 23, 2023 May be due to 2FA hacker couldn't cashout. Stake theory is not out of picture too. I wouldn't be posting all this if I gambled away . Have lost bigger amount than this before but I didnt post anything . Just digested loss
Archit2304 Posted October 27, 2023 #50 Posted October 27, 2023 I have had the same issue but the bonus email isnt fake, I Checked the domain its same that Stake sends their promotional emails from. Stake is totally unsafe. Have had this issue twice.
