I tried hard to get the lucky winner prize in the promotion called Conquer of the Casino. around 50k spins. and in the end I managed to hit 2066.50x with 0.10 usd bet.

a few days later someone hit 2100x with 0.50 brl and when I saw this, I immediately checked the exchange rate on xe.com (slot providers apply exchange rates there). Screenshot here.

Although it was clear that this bet did not comply with the promotion rules, the prize was given to him because he came in 1st place. Below is a screenshot of the promotion rules.

Stake live support claims that that user hit with a bet of 0.10 USD. When I ask them for the bet id or the winning time of that bet in order to check the exchange rate at the betting time, they do not provide me with this information. There is a forum page where they only announce the winner names.

This situation is quite shady.

Here I call on the stake promotion team to share the winning bet ID and prove that the winner was determined correctly.

This way I and the community can rest assured that promotions are being run fairly.

What do you think about this? Please feel free to comment.

lol Do you really think the difference of 0.001 is unimportant?

Let's say the minimum bet requirement is 1000 USD and someone comes and bets 990 USD. It is impossible for this person to actually be chosen as the winner. Because he cannot meet the rules, he should be disqualified. In this case, the real winner will be the one who bets 1000 USD.

The argument you present is utterly ridiculous. Just because 0.50 brl is usually worth 0.10 usd does not mean it is worth 0.10 usd at the time it is bet.

Also, the rules are clear, if the min bet amount stated in the rules was 0.099 USD, I would never object to the winner.

The only way to find out is the exchange rate at the time the bet was placed. Stake team refuses to share bet id or bet time.

They should share the bet Id but it doesn't really make a difference. Those are fiat currency and If it was in physical form, it would be rounded up because the denominations don't exist in smaller increments. If it was 0.0949 you would definitely have a case but 0.099 is too close. The 1000 vs 990 comparison doesn't work because no rounding needs to be done for limitations on denomination.

I feel your pain though man that really bites. I, too, got screwed over by the exchange rate on a promotion this week
