My question is simple, when a player gets injured in a tennis match that particular leg gets voided so should It not be the same for NBA as well. I mean if the player gets benched and not plays the game I would take it as a loss but Injury should be voided. Stake sportsbook team should definitely look into this. This is just a suggestion and request as lot of bettors lose money because of injury which is not foreseen and should not be considered a loss. What do you guys think ? There's a difference in individual sport vs a team event, in case of individual sport, the event gets cancelled, or opponent gets bye. The sportsbook decides whether to give back the money to the bettors of Injured player or consider it a loss. In team event, the event still takes place irrespective of a player getting injured, or getting fouled out. I think it's priced in for the odds you get. It is also harder to track what an injury actually is or if its a coach's decision to just sit the player out as a precaution. Next time, just be extra careful when going for prop bets. They usually cant be cashed out and you have to hit it to win, anything else is considered a loss.

If a player is injured within 15 minutes of play time I think It is only fair for that leg to be voided.

Dude, in football matches if you buy player first thing to happen, injury will still count as substituted, never gonna be void, i mean rules are casino made, you dont like it you can stop betting

It’s become standard practice among legitimate books (FD, DK, etc.) to refund/void player props as a result of an early injury. Unfortunately stake is not legitimate so they will never institute this perk.
