Well the other week where that one Russian bloke was the only one talking and everyone was muted in the channel if you looked at those discord accounts they were all made within the past month and as soon as he got paid out they all left at the exact same time on the tick. Only way about it is to somehow verify your discord account with Stake.

1. User must have muted mic, and speak only if chosen as winner
2. Users must be randomly picked - NOT handpicked
3. Kick streamers must not be eligible to participate
4. Create a better verification system which eliminates fake accounts
5. Bonus buy prize depends on the VIP level - do a bonus buy, and simply multiply it by VIP level

Bronze: gets 50% of the winnings

Silver: 70% of the winnings

Gold: 80% of the winnings

Platinum: 100% of the winnings

Platinum II: 110% of the winnings

Platinum III: 120% of the winnings

Platinum IV: 130% of the winnings

Platinum V: 140% of the winnings

Platinum VI: 150 of the winnings

Diamond: 175% of the winnings

Diamond II: 200% of the winnings

Diamond III: 225% of the winnings

Diamond IV: 250% of the winnings

Diamond V: 300% of the winnings

Obsidian: gets 500% of the winnings

First continue to use the random generation to pick the rooms. After it in the live stream, use some random generator tô pick the person in that room. But this need to happen in the live, to be clearly and fair for all.

One thing to keep in mind is if we RNG a winner out of the randomly selected room this becomes abusable by having multiple discord accounts

It's also not a requirement to use the voice channels at all to select someone if there's any unique ideas

Choose the winners on the forum where there are all recorded entries and it's easy and you don't need to make sure that you have two accounts. If there is a winner, he will connect himself in Discord and be able to chat and you don't need to do much extra

Add roles so you can see who you've picked before and how many times. Let them join but give fresh people little higher chance to win.

Also let us link our stake account somehow and pick people with higher vip levels so you know they're legit and not just farming multiple accounts

People who will join in the forum have to enter by typing kick or discord name and stake name.

then you will have overview when someone have multiple accounts with same stake name.

It would be very fair if you also pick the person from the room randomly. If there are 25 people in the room choose it also with the google random number generator. So all the men out there can stop using profile pictures from lady’s 😂

link their stake account to discord roles and user should have minimum bronze rank to qualify for the discord bonus buys. it will reduce large no. of alt accounts

Remember when you guys had Adin on stream and he went through one of the discord rooms unmuting people 1 by 1, and having a quick 20 second convo with each of them? 

I think its a cool concept. A variation of this would be awesome to help both: target deserving users and basically advertise real player testimonials live.

Maybe you guys could have one of the rooms that are randomly picked, be more focused in finding a user that has been with stake for a long time. A lot of long time players will be recognizable to the community, and i think it would be very valuable to have some of these players make an appearance here and there. You could make it a loyalty appreciation type of pick. 

I'm just riffing at the end there, but something like that could prove to be a really good change all-around. Like you guys have known some of these players for a long time, the chemistry could translate really well to the stream and make for some super entertaining moments.

Have rooms for each VIP, ie farmer room, bronze, silver gold, plat 1-6 rooms, and diamond. Spin a wheel for room to choose from.

Fairer for all ranks as the harder you wager the easier to get picked from rooms 

ie there are less plat 3 than gold.

For the Voice channel: Change  1 lifetime verification process to get voice roles, we could do manual verification instead of solving captchas ( if we have auto change server name bot it would be great). To complete the voice verification, members must provide their Stake username in the verification channel. Their server username will automatically change to the provided username, and for added security, their Discord account should be connected to X on the profile.

Later, when sending prizes, you can directly send them to that verified username, ensuring they don't use others' usernames. This measure also prevents them from joining discord server by multiple account

For picking winners in voice room : Each voice room will have a separate chat room. Integrate a giveaway reaction bot into the chat, allowing only those in the room to send reactions in the giveaway thread. Winners will be picked by the bot.

Even though the voice room may seem chaotic at times, it's currently the only way we can swiftly bring the selected user to the voice chat on the stream. If we choose the winner outside of Discord, it would waste a lot of time to get them on the stream. Moreover, if we only provide slot call picking for a winner on a forum post, that means no voice, and nobody knows the person behind it, which could potentially be a bot as well

Additionally, I and other mods can check those suspicious rooms beforehand and kick users displaying bot-like behavior, to make space for others to join, just in case no good solution has been found yet

use Double Counter discord bot to prevents alts and bots.
you can use google forms to collect all data and then grab winners with rng

    my suggestion would be as follow,

1. If the person's face did not matching the profile picture they were using, they get disqualified immedientely. 

2. The player's display name on discord has to be exactly same as their account username from stake.com.  This can prevent mutilpe accounts entry from same player, as well as same player been picked mulitple times within a short period of time.

So I have a plan @Steve here me out.

Select room number with RNG.

Make the selected room Chat box permitted to users of that room only to type in.

 

Mute all the players in that room and only the host speaks and announces to get ready for trivia. And then it is on.

Make a random question/trivia. Choose one of the responsive texters with 1st correct answer. The silent/non responsive ones get kicked out of server for one month or more. The winner is asked for username and verified to be on stake and active player of stake community in waiting room. Any suspicious answers during this verification gets the user removed from the room.

 

This way you have a fair and fun, kinda challenging way to get good bonus buy winners. 

 

And the way to keep record of discord users based on stake username, you can use a bot, set it to record username and userid of discord after every win.

 

Just to be safe. Make sure players are at least gold vip for obvious reasons.

 

And advanced discord bots can be made, which can record username and profile changes and bio changes. Make the bot record those during server lockdown and check changes during stream for selected winner.

I am watching weekend streams every week since i became in stake before 2 years. I never enter discord for giveaways tho, cus all this yelling and 50 ppl screaming/talking at the same time piss me off. I really enjoy watching the buys tho. If you can change the way you pick people would be great. Its hell, jungle with crazy makaks. If you can make every  group to be with 5 max capacity would be better. When you are choosing you always are looking for a certian type of ppl, but you never know who are you talking with in that jungle there.. cheerz guys

Main issue with the current method of  choosing giveaway winners is that we never know if people are using bots to increase their chances of winning the giveaway. 
As such, i would suggest every time before the stream starts, maybe introduce a challenge/task to complete and share it in the discord channel where you guys can slowly pick out your favourites. Not only it ensures that each submission is unique, it also decreases the possibility of bots entering the giveaway. In order to not be overwhelmed by the countless submissions, set a time limit or limit the amount of submissions. If not, you would have countless of submissions to go through. 
Example of such tasks can be like : Do a drawing of something, gift a flower to your mom/wife and show a  video/pic of you gifting it etc.

you can either try to :

1. Put the names of all participants on selected room to a wheel and pick the winner or

2. you can give a roll hunt, who the fastest finished the hunt is the winner.

Best way you say? 🤔

Add Double Counter bot and require every participant in the voice channel to turn on their camera.

Before picking rooms and doing the bonus buys,

1. Wipeout the entire discord server to cleanse the bots or just simply create a new one.
2. Add Double Counter bot. This is an anti alt account and VPN bot.
3. Change the limit of the voice channels from 40 to only 20 participants. Not enough for all viewers? Nah, 40+ rooms aren't always full anyway and mostly just swarmed with bots.
4. Open the server, 30 minutes or 1 hour before the stream.
5. Lock the voice channels 5 minutes before the stream. This can't be missed.
6. Now, this is were it gets tedious. Mods would quickly go in each of the voice channels and automatically kick all of the participants whose cameras are turned off. No ifs or buts.
   The participant should be in front of the camera. Doesn't matter if the face is covered or what as long as it can be verified that it is a live person.

Now, start of stream,

1. Pick the rooms as per the usual routine.
2. In the chosen rooms, run a raffle or challenge to be picked for the discord bonus buy.
   Or simply just run a wheel of names of all the participants in the room while sharing your screen for transparency.
