CoinDesk's Consensus conference in NYC have massive attendees

Starting on May 14-16 this year is happening one of the biggest consensus conferences by coindesk. 

Here is the chart for that

Many people are going to attend with a ticket at around $2000. 

After last year’s event on May 2017, the cryptocurrency market sky rocketed upto Dec of 2017. 

I pretty much hope that it will be the case again for this year.

What are your thoughts?

I would say based on the price action this has been a big dud.  I was expecting some exciting announcements or developments that might help the price, but despite some standing room only crowds not much has happened headline wise.
