Mods in Chat/Mutes

First things first the option to appeal a mute completely defeats the purpose when the appeal is handled by the same person that mutes you! It completely defeats the purpose of a fair appeal ultimately rendering them pointless and useless! That's about the same as punching someone in the face and them be your judge & jury, it's ridiculous and pointless. Some mods pick and chose who to mute for what. The favoritism is completely out of hand! People share links to socials, while tagging a mod and nothing is done. People harass others on a daily basis calling them idiots and worse, nothing is done. If you're going to run your chat like a prison group it needs to be the same for everyone! Don't share socials means don't go to your social media, click the share button, copy and paste link in chat, yet it gets done daily. However, someone can type 4 characters of their socials and get muted. Also, isn't the site for adults only? Even if someone wanted to share the link to their social media pages shouldn't that be their prerogative? If they want to take the risk, isn't that risk theirs to take? Sharing PIP should be at the beholders risk. If this site was an elementary/primary school group, that would be a different story.

Harassment happens daily in chat as well but again, it's is a pick and chose on who gets muted. It's disgusting how badly people are made fun of but once someone defends themselves that person gets muted. I watched a player get harassed, made fun of, spoke down to but once they stuck up for themselves they were muted. That's a pathetic abuse of power. All involved should have been muted before someone felt the need to have to speak up and defend themselves in such a manner that they themselves got muted.

Most moderators are amazing but some definitely need a refresher course!
