uraforever Posted January 29, 2024 #1 Posted January 29, 2024 Hello, I have been playing stake's forum's challenge for a while now. Recently, I just noticed that a lot of players were posting unqualified bets into the forum and gets paid. I believe most of them might not noticed by their mistakes. The most common one is post their betting id while their username un-visiable, I totally understand 99% of the time it is an honest mistake, but there might be 1% chance, some bad apple used other's betting id. In additional, it is not fair for other players that post their bets properly everytime to had their prizes shared with those were not. Another mistake would be post a bet with betting size lower than requirements. It is totally understand if the bet size is within +/- 0$.01, but some of them were way off that. For example, today, the last week's vip housegame(Scarab Spin) challenge, last player post a bet with only 0.006LTC($0.40) in betting size, that's 20% less than min betting required. And usually they would be paid anyway. My suggestion is , to regulate our forum challenge and to be fair to all the players; those whom posted unqualied bets shall get a warnning first, and gets a possible indef ban from play any challenges in the future with multiple faluse attemped. In another hand, Players that found out such mistakes (unqualifed bets got paid by mistake) shall receive a small prizes to their find, since, it is really hard for a single person to distribute prizes to all 4 challenges payout within such a short peirod of time. And all payments that mistakenly paid out shall be returned, and for those refused to payback, they shall be banned for any future challenges util they cleared their debts. In the last, it is really apperciated that stake and it's staffs brought to us so many good/unique promotions/events to play with. Please keep the good work up. Thanks SanjaT, Thanks NikolaRa, Thanks AleksandarZ Thank you all for your times and efforts that you put in to those events, because those events would be possible without your hardworkings. Have a great day and week, and month, and whole 2024
SPN Posted January 29, 2024 #2 Posted January 29, 2024 I think they do a good job with not paying people that doesn't meet the requirements, I have seen many times people make a post "why didn't I get forum prize" and a mod reply with a screenshot that they didn't have the required minimum bet or correct game and so on.
Brzk Posted January 29, 2024 #3 Posted January 29, 2024 Usually they dont play players with private Mode and under value bet. What you possibly see is.that the Name should be visible during the period of the promo, and when it finish you can turn private again.

They do check the bet id's and can see usernames even if they're hidden. Payout list is generated for Stake usernames from those bet id's, so in theory if someone would post other persons bet id on promo than his own, he would just make that person eligible for claiming that promo 🤔
Community Manager NikolaRa Posted January 29, 2024 Community Manager #5 Posted January 29, 2024 Hello @uraforever. Thanks for bringing this up. I understand your concern, and you have a good point, because many users are trying to abuse the forum promotions by posting bets that are not eligible for the promotion(e.g. they are posting bets that are played before the promotion started, or with a lower bet amount, or they are playing the wrong game). We have a program that is checking promotions, and it is capturing the exact time, date, played game and bet amount in the moment of the bet placement, and I can assure you that there is a minimum space for the error. I really hope that this will ease your worries a bit. Kind regards.
