Kargai Posted May 24, 2018 #1 Posted May 24, 2018 Gdax was the trading exchange own by Coinbase and they rebrand it in Coinbase Pro. It's not only a change of name since they also provide a better service now. Gdax was online since 3 years and they have to adapt the platform to the actual time. The new website is located at pro.coinbase.com and all the balances/historic & co from Gdax are automaticaly transfered there. They also simplified deposit and withdrawal processes, redesign the interface and added a portfolio to see quickly what you own. For the continuity this is the same trading fees, APIs or security features as the old one and you still have direct access to Coinbase Markets. Both websites will be available until the end of june, at at that time only Coinbase Pro will stay online. So if you are a GDAX member just verify that everything is ok for you before that end date.
