Has anybody worked this out? Or is there a generally excepted point of view on diminishiong returns for the number of mines in relation to the number of gems that your trying to hit. Like, are you generally going to make more profit overall and lose games less often with six mines on the board while trying to pick three gems and then cash out. As opposed to five mines on the board, but trying to achieve the same 3 gems before cashing out?Ā

or I guess maybe a better way of wording what I’m trying to say would be.

Assuming that you will always cash out only at 3 gems picked.Ā

Does having six mines on the board increase earnings per successfully selected gem end up earning you more over time. VS the increased number of games LOST because of the increased risk that comes along with each additional mine?

also on that same topic is there a way to find an ā€œoptimalā€ Ā target of gems for each number of mines?Ā

and to be clear, I’m not just asking about the maximum earnings for each number of possible minds. I hope that’s obvious. I’m specifically asking about over long period of time and the relationship between increased game losses versus increased, gem rewards.
