A nice article Lori. 

I think some of the focused privacy currencies, e.g. Monero, are a bit tougher to track than Bitcoin.  The analogy I use for Bitcoin is that it gives everyone a numbered Swiss bank account that everyone can see the transactions to.  It can be private but it can also be compromised. 

Not so sure about your second point about compensated endorsements.  In my mind that is advertising.  Floyd really gave legs to that line of criticism with his tweet about that stupid debit card.

Thanks for sharing it @Lillyflow. I like the article. Misconception #1 is very true and I agree with that.  But I hope that the evolving technology will help more good people not to help more criminal to do their thing.
