Ok, so Irena helped me to escalate the issue, and she is wonderful as always. Even so, I am baffled by what the issue could be.

️I deposited btc.

️The transaction has cleared (shows multiple confirmations on Blockchain)

️I checked the addresses and it’s a match. Is this an account issue ?

️Am I on some naughty list or what? 😈

Thanks In advance for replying...

xoxo

So glad @Irena helped you out, she's the best.

Clearly there is a disconnect between our deposit addresses and whatever credits out accounts.

I was surprised this was an issue, as obviously BTC is pretty well understood.  I guess didn't want to let ETH users have all the fun!

I expect you'll get your coins soon, good luck when you do!

Wry thanks for soothing my nerves. I appreciate it. i am fighting back s tantrum .. I am so annoyed..... but what can I do ? Not cool.  @Edward can you please just send my funds to my account. I kinda think it’s crazy how long my confirmed deal has been sitting in your wallet and not mine

Thank you 🍭

Hey, Lilly, I'm so sorry you're waiting for this, and I know it's not a consolation, but you're not the only one. :(

Hope the deposit issue will be solved shortly, and all of you can continue playing as usual.

Thanks for your understanding, tho, you'be been lovely as always! :)

I Just hope @Irena being naughty and all have nothing to do with it. I am baffled at Irena's Kindness tho xD

Still not fixed - unfortunately.

Tej, what did you mean “baffled by her kindness” Was I rude ?  I strived not to be rude - and all the mods and staff who I have been fortunate enough to speak with have been very cool, even with a group of cranky gamblers asking “where’s my money”.

I am ok with waiting it’s just the lack of communication from the bosses that made this whole thing uncomfortable.  They already have the money so it should be natural that they would simply tip the confirmed amount to it’s rightful depositor, and THEN work on the fix for what ever was broken.

Or at least say something, in writing, to notify.

Here is what happens when you leave it to our imaginations:

The lack of notice and the silence combined an empty balance has all the symptoms of a successful attack on the server- or of a hacker that actually breeched the system.  I know this is silly to worry like this, but my imagination can be intense.  A note would have been nice.

Do you see how far-fetched things can become when unexplained?  Here I am imagining a massive heist all because the boss didn’t say “hey Lori, hey everyone.  Your deposit is taking an unusually long time to appear in your balance because of _______insert reason here _____.  Thanks  for your trust. “

Something, anything....

lol 😂 anything would have been nice.  Anyway it’s just .... I don’t know.  Hope they will sort it out before too long. I think making us wait while the fixes are applied was the Wrong order to do things.  Oh well.

Nope same here. I did directly reach out to @Dan and @Mladen and I am going to give it a few more hours before I start to change the pace.  As it stands there are 17 people complaining and I heard it took a month for some people to get results.

Current concern is the lack of disclosure surrounding troubled technology, and ethical mischief,of unresolved in a few more hours.

Then it is the careless response. I drop too much money here to be brushed off it is unsettling.  I see my money on the confirmed block- now please let me have it.  Thanks much. .009 btc please .

This is a really good point, the technical glitch is bad, failing to communicate effectively about it severely exacerbates the problem.  Since our crypto transactions cannot be undone we have to have trust in those we interact with, especially sites like Stake.  We can all forgive technical glitches and problems, but not being forthcoming about them really hurts the sites credibility.  I'm surprised that there isn't an official thread about this, or a warning to others who might want to deposit.

I guess they are worried bad guys might exploit somehow, but still, generally sharing what you can is better than silence, or leaving support to respond on an ad hoc basis.

Given how generous the site is to people who just chat and post on the forum, I have to believe they will more than make it up to you when they get it sorted out @Lillyflow!  Just keep on keeping us updated and the criticisms constructive and professional!

Heya, @Lillyflow,

Your deposit has been credited manually on your account, Vlada has sent you the tip :) Thank you for your understanding, the issue with the BTC depos happened during the last update, and you and some of the users have encountered this problem of the deposit being confirmed, but not reflected to your account. It is currently being resolved to get it all connected and automated by then, and we have credited the users that we could so far, some depos were really high, so they will need to wait for admins' assistance, should be in a few hours ;)

Your understanding is highly appreciated!

Thank you!  I am glad it was resolved.

You're welcome, glad we could help and sorry it took some time, we were hoping this would get resolved faster and automatically :)

No, the problem still persists for many users, but developers are on it, it will, hopefully, be solved by the end of the day ;)

Great points made Wry!! I was thinking - the Stake  team would be smart to enlist some help in designing a procedure for such occurrences in the  future.  A liaison team to expedite the process of disclosing and overseeing the delivery of news like “deposit delays “etc.

Sorry for the lack of communication everyone. Usually I'm first to ensure proper communication channels are created during periods like this, but I am currently on holiday so its been a bit of a battle to contain such issues that arise unsuspectingly and so rarely. Will try to do better in the future.

This issue has now been sorted. Sorry for anyone who was interrupted by it.

All is good again, I still love Stake.  Thanks for the fix; must be hard always dealing with cranky gamblers lol.

It’s ok, I am super glad it worked out because your team has a stellar reputation for a reason - because you deserve positive feedback.  So the situation was a rare occurrence,  nobody is Perfect right?

Except @GodLoft.  He might be perfect.  But nobody elese.  Lol
