Boost Your Code Drop Security with 2FA

Have you noticed how quickly daily code drops get claimed the moment they go live? It’s frustrating when bots, programmed to enter codes automatically, beat real users to the punch. To combat this, implementing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is essential.

2FA requires a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your mobile device, after entering your password. This step is something bots can't easily replicate, giving genuine fans a fair chance. By adding this extra layer of security, you ensure that it's real people, not automated scripts, who are benefiting from your offers.

Protect your promotions from being exploited by bots and enhance the experience for your loyal followers by integrating 2FA!

Who is crazy enough to give 2FA to bot owner they can steal their funds if they have access to 2FA.

Not only that but usually bots like this don't have extra security put into place it might not be bot owners who would steal your funds but some 3rd party that could get access to everyone's API keys.

1. In my opinion, I would prefer to make the bonus code simple and not have any puzzles because not everyone understands the puzzle.

2. There is no such thing as a bot because everyone who can take the bonus must have a betting value like this $10 bonus and to take it there must be a bet placed before it is $10,000

Stake dev can check all claimed accounts usernames. If I were to set up an independent test to see which codes were being claimed by particular accounts, I would issue individual codes to a specific person. If any one person has the same accounts claim their codes we know that the person is leaking codes.

I would also setup a log of the time taken to claim a code. If it takes any accounts less than some minuscule # of seconds to claim and that timing is constant we would also be able to determine if an account has an autograb bot.

Those were my initial suggestions on how to crack down on leaked codes and alts with bots.

It's probably worth trying, but... 2FA can be set on any desktop broswer via extensions. Therefore, it shouldn't be that hard for bot coders to solve that up.
I've heard that these bots work interacting with Stake's API, and that the API has a specifical instance for code-claiming. Maybe removing the access to that from the API could work also?
Or what about 2FA + removing API's interaction with codes?

Still, as I said, it's worth giving a try on just the 2FA option.
