Hey stalkers!

Is there any of you knows some countries that restrict bitcoin use in gambling?

I usually tead some countries getting strick about crypto minings but atm I don’t see or read some that restricted about playing some cryptos in gambling, or I am just not aware.

Although what if your country does that? Like what if you are not able to deposit and receive btc or cryptos from those gambling sites?

So the real question is do you have any idea about a country that is strict about using crypto in gambling sites?

What are your thoughts about this?

I know that Germany has like not a single "pure" crypto casino. But I'm actually not sure about any regulations here. They probably don't put an eye on it because no ones opening a casino yet, so why would they waste their time on, in this case, useless regulations right?

It depends on the legality of bitcoin and gambling in the country. If bitcoin is illegal in the country (extremely uncommon) then bitcoin gambling is of course illegal. If online gambling is legal and bitcoin is legal you're good to go. The final scenario is where the grey area comes in, bitcoin is legal but online gambling is not. In general it's safe to assume bitcoin can't be gambled if the country's currency can't be gambled. Since bitcoin is still a new concept and bitcoin gambling an even newer concept this will probably sit in a grey area for awhile in countries with online gambling laws.

I found this a very interesting question, so after a bit of internet research I found that in some countries use of cryptocurrencies is considered illegal (not just in gambling, but generally). These countries are Algeria, Bolivia, Ecuador, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam and Cambodia. In other countries there are restrictions (China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Mexico, Zambia).
