Jjdjjdjms Posted May 17, 2024 #1 Posted May 17, 2024 Couple things. Biggest issue is number two, so if you won’t read it all start at number 2. What is going on with stake as of late? im here to ask what is the point of having a “vip” host when they they barely even host. Seriously. All my host does is reset my reload, and give me the link to top monthly an hour after I’ve already gotten the link from other friends. so really they are only responsible for fixing up my reload that’s calculated automatically. Sure they can adjust it a little, but even when they do “boost” it, how do I know they didn’t just cut my previous week reload by that much? through out the years, leveling up it honestly felt like my host had my back. If I had a rough day,/week they’d hook me up with a little lossback. Even though it was an absolute fraction of what I had lost during that little run, 5-10-20 dollars literally made it feel like they had my back. I could lose 1k in a day and if my host gave me 5 bucks, I kid you not that would make me feel like my host was trying their best for me. now, I can go two weeks in the red, several k down and can’t even get a 5. a brick and mortar casino would be throwing food, drinks , hotel room, event tickets , valet services etc for a fraction of what I’ve sent in over the course of a week at times. It’s crazy. and yes, the amount wagered has decreased but even during slow times between plat 1-6 it still felt like I was getting rewarded consistently. Now as a diamond it feels like I struggle to get something. Stake has dropped off. And I am certainly not the only one to be saying it. 2. Second is a biggie and I’ve been debating bringing it up in public but i feel like it’s time. when I signed up to stake, very early on I was offered an increased rate on my affiliate earnings. I agreed. fact of the matter, I was offered an increase, and I agreed. it came to my attention after going through the statistics that only one of my campaigns had the commission rate increased. once I noticed the discrepancy I reached out through the appropriate channels regarding the issue. They came back and told me because there was no proof there was an agreement, they weren’t going to pay me retroactively what I was rightfully owed. I then went through years of message history and luckily I found the very messages where I was offered an increase in commission rate and then sent that to them. It took days to get a response for them to tell me that they wouldn’t honour it but they could increase my rates now. thats not acceptable. I was offered an increased rate, straight from the horses mouth. They dropped the ball by not applying the increase when it should have been and now I am out a rather large amount of money. im not posting the screen shots or revealing the names of those involved unless this gets ignored. I was even considering negotiating for a sum/portion of what is rightfully owed to me, and stake left me on read. again, not posting the evidence I have here in public, I am willing to share it with the appropriate stake employees to talk about this and resolve this amicably. if my post gets deleted or ignored by stake staff, then I’ll be left with no other option then to get to work and run through the appropriate channels that I’ve spent the last 4 months accumulating in the event of being ignored. And no, it’s not me sharing screen caps of conversations and complaining to house owned companies.
ezcashin Posted May 17, 2024 #2 Posted May 17, 2024 I completely agree with you. I haven't spent nearly as much time in the program as you have! It feels like Stake has let the increase in its player base negatively impact the quality of the VIP program it intended to offer. Receiving small rewards can make you feel valued and cared for. I wish they would be more transparent and show us on our accounts what a reload would be and when it's going to reset. This way, it wouldn’t feel like a mystery, leaving us wondering if we're getting what we deserve based on our stats. If your host doesn't particularly like you, you might not receive as much as someone whose host does. I can confirm this from personal experience: my first host didn't seem to care for me, but I get along well with my current host and have noticed a significant improvement in how I'm treated. I understand the program needs to evolve over time, but I believe accounts should retain the same rules as when they first became VIPs. After all, players spent a lot of money to achieve those levels with the VIP perks that were offered at the time.
Jjdjjdjms Posted May 17, 2024 Author #3 Posted May 17, 2024 Sure I understand there’s a possibility of the way bonus/reloads are calculated to be adjusted over time, and I’m not asking for this mysterious calculation to be revealed to the public. But if the reloads were going to get anyways, could be “reset” by players - no “vip” host involved it would certainly make players feel like they aren’t getting played. what does bug me is when you get a reload reset after a solid week and you host says “I increased you’re reload a lot this week” It drives me up the wall. You didn’t wager/deposit. I did. And the results of my reload are based on my recent play. So don’t take the credit like you’re the one that did it.
Onefourbee Posted May 19, 2024 #4 Posted May 19, 2024 Definitely agree with both of you! In April I wagered $6m with a significant loss and my monthly top bonus was 20% less than what I recieved in March in which I only wagered $1m (with a nice profit). My weekly this week was $134 for a $31,199 wager, the week before I recieved $112 for $13,553 wager. Whenever I have raised the question with my host I just get told "sorry we dont have any idea on how the calculations are applied" I had a big loss in April and my host was nowhere to be seen and when i reached out I got the feeling they were annoyed at me for adoing so. I told them I was considering pulling the pin and after some persisence I managed to get a $50 bonus (I had lost $350k in the 4 weeks leading up to me reaching out) I am a Diamond I VIP (90% of the way to Diamond II)

ProvablyFairLOL Posted May 19, 2024 #6 Posted May 19, 2024 I’m in the same boat as OP. Stake in 2024 is a shell of its former self. The VIP host is nothing more than a marketing gimmick (like every other incentive on stake) to increase play. All the bonuses are terrible relative to brick and mortar casinos or other sites. i can only assume that stake is cutting back on incentives and milking its core players to offset the costs associated with Kick, sponsors, and streamers. There’s no other explanation. I complain weekly to my host and support about this and receive the same copied and pasted responses every time. It’s abundantly clear that stake couldn’t care less about me so I’ve decided to stop playing. Simple as that.
Jjdjjdjms Posted May 22, 2024 Author #7 Posted May 22, 2024 Good to know I’m not the only one being tossed to the side. considering the money I’ve brought in myself, and through my affiliates- not to mention I was shorted just over 100k cad on what I should have earned through one campaign… I’ve been essentially told to get fucked. my host, when they are scheduled to work always has the at home logo in their tg and always takes hours to reply. No matter the inquiry. Now I’m coming to see other users are getting a random bonus link given to them for 20-30-40 bucks. Not even that much.. and a player of 7 years like myself can’t even claim it. it seems I’ll be going through askgamblers to even get a proper reply regarding the missed commissions. That I have a message from Eddie, the big man himself offering to increase my campaigns. Then, not doing so. To be quite honest. Since I’ve brought this up months ago, I’ve been getting the cold shoulder and it sucks. Stake don’t give a fuck about the long time players. They just want to get the quick turn and burn players in and out. Hence the most recent advertising campaigns they’ve been running.
