@Faris Then I could just get warnings, since there is nothing in the rules that says I cannot mention another site, players often do this, how do they mute for 30 days? Please resolve this issue (if I can’t mention it, I won’t mention it again)

I showed you the exact rule you broke above. We also do not give warnings for such violations. Your mute log is not clean and you should know the rules. The moderator has already responded to your appeal.

Hello, dear chatters!  B|

As you already know, Stake has some new mods/community managers and we need to make their life a bit easier by implementing some basic Rules for you to follow and for them to be guided by. Each chat should have these and they should be followed if you want to be a valuable/respected member of the community.

  1. Don’t spam & don’t use excessive capital letters when chatting.
  2. Don't harass or be offensive to other users or Stake staff.
  3. Don’t share any personal information (including socials) of you or other players.
  4. Don't beg or ask for loans, rains or tips.
  5. Don't use alternative (alts) accounts on chat, that is strictly forbidden.
  6. No suspicious behavior that can be seen as potential scams.
  7. Don't engage in any forms of advertising/trading/selling/buying or offering services.
  8. No discussion of streamers or Twitch or any other similar platforms.
  9. Don't use URL shortening services. Always submit the full link.
  10. Don’t share codes, scripts or any other bot service.
  11. Only use the language specified in the chat channel, potential abuse will be sanctioned.
  12. No politics & no religion talk in chat, this one is strictly forbidden.

* Sub-rules and their further elaboration are given in the "Quote" below, so make sure to read that as well, for you to be fully informed on what is allowed on Stake chatrooms and what it prohibited.

* Moderators/support members/admins and community manages save the right to implement the rules as they see fitting and corresponding to the given situation.
* If player has been muted multiple times over the same offense, their mute time would be extended, and it would slowly end to the permanent disabling of chat privilege, especially if their behavior does not correct after multiple warnings/mutes.
* Rules can be changed and adjusted based on the needs of the community.
* For some more serious breaking of our chat rules, you may be muted without being previously warned.

I hope that this post helped if you have any doubts concerning Rules implementation and that it will spare many of users from an unnecessary restrictions from our platform. If it hasn't, feel free to contact Live Support and any doubts would be clarified to you easily.

When and if you get muted, please, make an appeal on this SECTION here, and person who muted you would check it and review your case as soon as they are back online (24/48h). Thank you for your patience on this and please, do not make double-posts on that section, there is no need, you won't be replied sooner thanks to that.

Thank you for choosing Stake, and welcome! Best of luck betting! 🍀

Hi @Bojana a question, sometimes I see people tipping for 1 h straight other random players like only 0.5$ or 1$ max,(and she/he puts the option “make public “ before tipping)

I mean it’s good for the community but in these moments non VIP players write the whole time and tagging this “tipper” to hope they get something too.

I think if he/she would tip 10/20/50$ it would be impossible that he/she would last more than 10/15 min.

In that Hour that he/she tips its impossible to write something. Just people spamming .

Is it not technically a spamming what he does? I mean 30m or 1 h is a lot even because making chaos for only 50 cents…

I hope u can answer me ❤️😁

Regarding chat jumping.

"This rule does not apply to the English/Sports/Challenges rooms since these rooms are Global rooms, and all English-speaking users are welcome."

Ive been told by the Norwegian mods we can't be in any other chat room than the Norwegian, including English/Sports/Challenges and we must wait 30-60 minutes after writing in Norwegian before I can write in Sports/Challenges.

Is this correct? I find it odd, as obviously sometimes I want to participate in challenges or talk sports without having to wait 30-60 minutes.

The way I inteprefer the rules is that it's allowed to be in global chatrooms as well as your specified regional one.

For some people it might be offensive, so the answer is no.

You can do it in PM, if previously agreed to.....

Hello. I just checked your chat log and saw that you actually mentioned another gambling site, which is not allowed. Talking about another gambling site or mentioning the site's name is considered advertising.

The rules are clear. If you mostly use English/Sports/Challenges chat rooms and then go to local chat, then that's breaking the chat rules, but if you're mostly using local chat and then going to one of those general chats, then no, you're not breaking the chat rules.

What if we mostly use local rooms. And then want to talk or share a bet or get some tips in sport/english chat. And go back to local room again. Do we need to wait 15-20 minutes before switching from local to global, and back to local?

Thanks for the reply, @Faris.

I actually still don't think it's clear enough, as we're getting muted very quickly for such instances in the Norwegian chat.

Example:

Quote

I use the Norwegian chat primarily, but I have a tennis bet going on. There's no one in the Norwegian chatroom who talks tennis at the time; we're just having a friendly conversation. I therefore go to the sports chatroom to post my bet there and maybe have a few comments about the match, then I go back to the Norwegian one. All this within a couple of minutes, as I have an ongoing conversation in the Norwegian room with my friends.

This is something I would get muted for in the Norwegian chat. Even posting one comment in the sports chatroom gets us muted for chat jumping. The moderators have said we need to wait 30-45 minutes after posting a comment before we can go back to the Norwegian room. This causes Norwegians to not use the global rooms at all.

There have been several mutes for this already, and even mutes when a person has unintentionally sent one comment in the global rooms (as the chatrooms jump back to Eng/Sports when we navigate around on Stake.com).

The Norwegian community is small and friendly, and we have connections outside Stake as well. This has led to frustration and a lot of discussion.
