lupandina Posted June 26, 2018 #1 Posted June 26, 2018 I wanted to discuss with stakers and maybe find solution about one thing There are two options I need, but I can't get both, I'm forced to choose one of them, and I don't like it First - I often need to check some coin price, calculate some things, etc. I don't want to turn chat into recycle bin :D, so I'm doing this through pm's with chatbot. It's nice Second - I'm receiving tons of pm's. I'm tired already to report all beggars and search for smth I need in inbox. Best thing would be just set option "Hide messages from non friends". But! If I'm hiding non-friends pm's, I can't to "chat" in pm with my beloved friend Chatbot anymore, and abuse it with all !cv and !calc commands So, I'm forced to choose: or comfortable private way to calculate everything I need, or clean inbox. Dear ChatBot, please, accept my friend invite 😂
Snike Posted June 26, 2018 #2 Posted June 26, 2018 You can do all the commands with chatbot in for example, Japanese chat. But as an overall suggestion I'ld love to see an extra chatbot chat room or commands.
wry Posted June 26, 2018 #3 Posted June 26, 2018 A suggestion related to yours would be to make it easier to report inappropriate PMs to mods. Rather than the victim having to do all the leg work of a taking and then posting a screen shot, a simple report button (just like the forum has!) that would also erase their messages would make it easy to report these people who are clogging your PMs and making life less pleasant for winners. EDIT: One other idea, just like some users have a bank account, have another account you use just to chat with the bot.

Let chatbot be your tutor and he notifies you when new giveaways are out and stuff!! ADMINSSS new idea!!! lol
Community Manager Stake Staff Posted June 27, 2018 Community Manager #6 Posted June 27, 2018 Hhhhmmm, nice catch, @lupandina 🤔 This definitely can present a problem for the users I would suggest you to contact Seuntjie for more info, as soon as he appears on chat, he is the creator of ChatBot and to try and add it as friend, but I am afraid he would also suggest you to do the public conversions of the currencies or to use some alternative medium for this situation, such as... basically, any online converter that you can find I know it is easier in PMs and it can be done from a phone quickly, so not sure what to suggest as a better alternative here.
Moderator maverick528 Posted June 27, 2018 Moderator #7 Posted June 27, 2018 Another temporary solution until a definitive one is found, is to have the "hide messages from non-friends" always set, but when you need to do a calc using Chatbot you turn it off for s few secs and then turn it on again when you finish with Chatbot, its not so difficult cause the button for ignore/non-ignore is very near. Yes, its a bit cumbersome cause it adds a pair of extra clicks each time you want to do a calc or conversion...

Maybe make the bot add every single user as friend ?
