Does GC wager count towards wager requirements?

Hey guys,

Was just wondering if GC wagered counts towards the wager requirements for bonus drops.

I know 200k GC = 1SC , so hypothetically could I wager 1 Billion GC to be eligible for a 5k wager requirement bonus drop?
