Chat giveaway/trivias

Hello!

I have an idea about adding a chat giveaway tool/option.

Which makes it easier to hold bigger giveaways and/or to more people in the same giveaway.

 

Right now we do it by remembering usernames.

Which can be a hassle if you want multiple winners in the same trivia.

Some questions gets spam answers, so an automatic system would be great solution for us lazy humans.

 

So the idea is to have a tool with a nice looking drop down menu in the chat to click in to. Add question/right answer, winners and a start/stop/delete button, if something went wrong its good to be able to do a new giveaway. Maybe even a confirm winners button before sending it out, since things can go wrong at times.

The ammount beeing tipped can be both automatic and manual to the winners and to the tool. Mainly to the tool. To the winners would be extra luxury if possible.

 

If the ammount option is automatic, it should be a deposited ammount of a currency in to the giveaway tool, so its a set prizepool. Its basicly vaulting to a giveaway.

If its not vaulted, and the option would be to send out money after winners are set, there is a risk of marketswing/cashout/bets to mess with the giveaway.

 

I dont think many people giveaway money when they have close to 0 balance after giveaway, but I know some people cashout and giveaway the rest before logging out.

At the end of the day, its the giveaway holders money, so they should own the tool when using it, so either they accept terms when depositing/starting the tool.

Or that they will always be able to cancel the giveaway , even tho you have vaulted in to it.

 

If its manual , its not deposited before the giveaway. Its sent out after the giveaway by manually tipping everyone.

 

Automatic would be the optimal option, even tho both would work, since we do it manually now anyways, only with less security and less fun.

Good idea, I think creative ideas for giveaways will incentivize players to host them if they're fun like this and help build the community. Right now all english chat has is rainbot but there's so many bots that it doesn't help build the community it just makes it worse.

I agree!

I think mods reffers to challenge room for trivias anyway, so it would most likely be hosted there

It could also be a captcha to click to claim the prize, to decrease bot involvment.
