FractionEstate Posted July 9, 2024 #1 Posted July 9, 2024 You should change how the mute routine is set up. My suggestion is that a mod should only be able to mute for up to 12 hours. Suff that are more severe: If they feel that that ain't sufficient. The moderator should fill out a form building their case for a 3rd party to review and and the person that is "on trail" to get a change to explain themselves. After this is done the 3rd party should set the appropriate mute time. There is several examples out there of mods using personal feelings against somone to deside if they will mute them for life. or just a hour. Forexample today I hear about a perma mute because a person sent a smiley Why should this be done? 1. Stake would loose less users/money 2. There will be less doubt about the verdicts 3. It will reduce the chances of mods using mute as a way to gain more rain for themselves Temperature check: Ive talked to alot of people out side of the platform, that use stake and the general response is that the mods at stake is using favoritism and are not educated enough for such a big task they are given. @Edward
