Bitcoin price is as low as $5,784 Sunday afternoon, marking the cryptocurrency’s lowest price so far in 2018. The value of Bitcoin (BTC) plunged to $5,808 on Sunday before it quickly corrected to the $6,200 mark a couple of hours later. A digital currency expert Jordan Hiscott said that he expects the value of Ripple, Ethereum, and Bitcoin to continue heading south, claiming that the overall micro picture for digital currencies “is negative.” Bitcoin (BTC) is presently trading at $6,214 after plunging to a new low for this year on Sunday night. The digital currency still boasts of a market cap of $109.73 billion and a trading volume of $3.80 billion in the last twenty-four hours. In the mid-year of 2018 nearly upon us, it has become compulsory on experts and commentators to offer revised Bitcoin price predictions. In the beginning of the year, the consent was that the number one cryptocurrency would reach even greater heights. Still, BTC prices have dropped from its record-setting highs of $19,500 in mid-December 2017 to hovering around the $7,700 mark. Bitcoin will Approach the $15,000 Mark by December 2018. A financial comparison platform released a Bitcoin forecast that said BTC prices would cross the $30,000 mark by December 2018. Up to this mid-year 2018 the platform seems to have revised its predictions with a new report released in June. Permitting to the latest forecast figures, Bitcoin will end the year trading at $14,638.
