  1. Update on my Stake Poker tournament issue: Support responded and explained that their system rounds the 15% cutoff down, which is why only 34 players advanced out of 233 entrants. However, the lobby only stated: “This phase ends when 15% of players remain.” My point is that this wording reasonably suggests 35 players should remain, since 15% of 233 = 34.95. I also asked them to provide the specific written rule where this rounding method is explained for future events, because if no clear rule exists, I believe this creates confusion and affects the competitive integrity of these tournaments. Still waiting for clarification.
  2. Update from Stake Poker support regarding the Centurion Warm Up – Phase 1 situation: They confirmed I finished 35th out of 233 players, but according to them only 34 players qualified for the final phase. Their explanation is that 15% of 233 equals 34.95, and because of that, 35th place was considered “just below the threshold.” They also confirmed that qualification is automatic for players considered inside the top 15%, and no ticket is issued manually. The issue is that 34 players are not even close to being 15% of the field — 34 out of 233 is only 14.59%. There was also absolutely no clarity anywhere in the rules or tournament lobby explaining that the qualification number would be rounded down instead of up, which is why this whole situation feels very unfair. I’d really appreciate the community’s support and visibility on this situation. Stake Poker support confirmed that I finished 35th out of 233 players in the Centurion Warm Up – Phase 1, but they denied qualification because only 34 players advanced. Their reasoning is that 15% of 233 = 34.95, so the system rounded down to 34 players. The problem is that 34 players are only 14.59% of the field, not 15%, and nowhere in the rules or tournament lobby was it explained that percentages would be rounded down. I’ve already escalated the issue because I genuinely believe the communication around the qualification system was unclear and unfair. If anyone else thinks this should have been handled differently, I’d appreciate any replies, opinions, or support so this can hopefully get more visibility.
  3. Hi everyone, I’m looking for help or advice to escalate a tournament issue with Stake Poker. I played the Centurion Warm Up – Phase 1 tournament. The lobby clearly stated: “This phase ends when 15% of players remain.” The tournament had 233 players total, and 15% of 233 = 34.95, which should mean 35 players qualify. I finished exactly 35th place, but I did not receive qualification for the next phase. I already checked the rules and couldn’t find anything saying the number rounds down instead of up. Does anyone know: if this is normal, if Stake rounds differently, or how I can properly escalate this case to support/admins? I would really appreciate any help or visibility on this 🙏 Quick update regarding my Stake Poker tournament issue: I contacted support about finishing 35th in a tournament where the lobby stated that the top 15% qualify (233 players total). Support has now escalated the case to the team responsible for tournament reviews, and they told me they are currently investigating it. I appreciate everyone who replied and helped me understand the situation. Hopefully I’ll get a final answer soon 🙏
