  2. “…when the fire softly whispered and sparks danced in the air.” ’Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the room, The stockings lay waiting, stitched tight on the loom. The hearth hummed with warmth, the logs popping low, Casting gold on the walls in a gentle, slow glow. The clock ticked politely, as if it too knew That magic was brewing, that wonders were due. Outside, winter held its cold crystalline breath, While inside was comfort, the opposite of death. A cat curled up tighter, tail flicking just so, Dreaming of ribbons and mice made of snow. The kettle sighed softly, then finally slept, As promises lingered of secrets long kept. No clatter of hooves yet, no sleigh in the sky, Just the calm, heavy quiet that makes moments fly. The kind of still silence that wraps round your chest, Where worries grow tired and decide they should rest. Then somewhere—not heard but distinctly felt— A shift in the air, like a spell being dealt. Not loud, not dramatic, no thunder or flash, Just warmth growing warmer and time slowing fast. For Christmas, you see, doesn’t enter with noise, It slips through the cracks we forget to deploy. It hides in old memories, cinnamon smells, In stories retold and half-believed tales. It lives in forgiveness left under the tree, In hope that insists, “There’s still more to be.” In hands reaching out when the year’s been too long, In humming a half-remembered song. And so by the fire, with the night drawing near, The greatest gift came—not wrapped, yet sincere. A moment of peace, rare and perfectly right, That whispered, You made it. You’re safe. It’s tonight. And somewhere, far off, with a twinkle and grin, Santa took note—with a nod—then stepped in. 🎄✨ damien4220

  8. You ever notice how Halloween night feels… different? Like the air’s thinner, colder — and every shadow’s watching you? That’s because Halloween’s the only night the barrier between the living and the dead wears thin. That’s what my granddad used to say. Now, this happened about twenty years ago — right here in town. Back then, everyone trick-or-treated until midnight. You’d see kids running around in costumes, candy bags dragging, porch lights glowing orange. Except for one house… The old Weller place. Everyone said don’t go there. The owner, Mrs. Weller, went missing one Halloween long ago — and her house just sat there, rotting, but her porch light still came on every October 31st. No one knew who turned it on. But one year, this kid named Joey — dressed like a vampire — decided he was gonna be brave. Said he was gonna be the last trick-or-treater in town and get candy from every single house. His friends dared him. And when the clock struck 11:45, Joey went up that cracked walkway to the Weller porch. The others stayed by the street, watching. The pumpkin on the step was carved into a twisted grin — real deep cuts, like someone used a knife in a hurry. The candle inside was barely flickering, but it glowed red instead of orange. Joey knocked. Once. Twice. Then the door creaked open — slow, like it hadn’t been touched in years. A woman’s voice came from the dark: “Well, aren’t you a handsome little vampire? Come in, dear, and pick your treat.” Joey laughed. “No thanks, lady — I’ll just take a Snickers.” But when he looked down, the candy bowl wasn’t full of chocolate. It was full of old, blackened teeth. He dropped his bag and ran — but the other kids said the woman stepped out onto the porch after him. They couldn’t see her face — just her shadow stretching way too long across the yard. And as Joey reached the street, his friends heard her whisper: “You forgot your treat…” He didn’t stop running until he got home. Told his mom everything. She called the police. They checked the house the next morning. No woman. No light. Just Joey’s candy bag — and a single tooth inside it. Still warm. That year, nobody trick-or-treated past eleven ever again. damien4220

  10. my bet is small I set it for 1/25000 of bank roll and then cut it in half to be safe here is about 1 third of the goes i did never busted steady profit but about every 2-5 thousand bet gets a little big i feel 1/1000 would bust for sure maybe even 1/25000 but I cut that in half and ran it for about 20000 goes at least never busted here is a portion of that

  12. I've also noticed same issues with non responsiveness and delay in command functions which if it cant function properly should we not just be allowed to script our own auto betting cause not needing to put all the "hard work" on stake and just making it function ourself would be easiest but if I'm not mistaken stake doesn't allow this or am I wrong? pretty sure we can only use it house function clarify me on this because im unsure and would love to know cause the auto betting qorks terribly for me (on mobile) for obvious reasons but never the less can easily make it function on my own if it's allowed
