1st. why is it not possible to bet on goal scorers in the first half at stake? 
2nd, why can't I bet on several goal scorers in one game?

every other provider has had this for years.
 

and what happens if the player is not selected? 
other providers cancel the bet. does stake do the same or does stake just collect the money and say unlucky?

there is the selection with 1st goalscorer but surely that means the 1st goalscorer 
and last goalscorer the last one 
or does that mean the half-time?

We don't offer 1st half goalscorer market on our platform, at the moment, unfortunately.

You can only pick one goalscorer market per match, any other combination is not allowed.

Can you please, elaborate on 'and what happens if the player is not selected?', not sure what you mean by that.

1st goalscorer refers to a player who scores the first goal in the match, and the last goalscorer to the player who scores the last goal.

that just makes stake so unattractive

I don't know about football but when i bet for player score on basketball, if the player I bet is not playing for that match they just cancel the bet for that player. But it was one time so i am not sure it is just a coincidence or their rule.
