I just wanted to say how much I love the weekly bonus buy giveaways! It’s such an exciting and generous promotion, and even though I haven’t been picked yet, I still think it’s awesome. You never know, and that’s part of the fun!

But I’ve been thinking: what’s stopping people from creating multiple Discord accounts to increase their chances? For example, someone could join every room with different accounts to game the system. While I’m sure most of us play fair, it’s hard to ignore the possibility that some might try to cheat.

Do you think this is happening, or is it just a small concern?

Does Stake have measures to prevent multi-accounting?

I think we should have something like linking Discord to Stake accounts, IP checks, or some sort of verification.

What do you all think?

They try their best but they also don't wanna waste too much resources on that.

To join the discord server you need a verified phone number on discord, you can make 1 discord account per phone number.

I thought about that, but there are services offering phone numbers where you can actually receive SMS. This way, someone could still create multiple accounts. Given that there’s a high chance this could turn into a lot of money, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone went as far as buying SIM cards to do this. Another way could be simply asking friends to join or something similar

Yeah you have a good theory, although i don’t think they care enough to make it more fair
