Modassir Khan Posted May 12, 2025 #459 Posted May 12, 2025 1. What is your Stake username? Answer: Modassir16 2. How much time on average do you spend on chat every day? Answer: On average, I spend approximately 6 to 8 hour, or even more on the chat. 3. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? Answer: As an India-Speaking moderator for stake chat, my primary responsibility would be to maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all users in the chat. Which involves actively monitoring the chat to ensure that conversations remain within the platform’s community guidelines. I would have to address any instances of inappropriate behavior, such as abusive language, harassment, spamming, or discussions promoting illegal activity according to the community guidelines. Other than to enforcing rules, I also play a key role in supporting users. This includes answering general questions, guiding new members, and escalating issues to higher support tiers when necessary. I would need to help users understand the platform’s features, bonuses, promotions, ensuring they have a positive experience. As moderators, I also act as the bridge between the community and the administrative team. We gather user feedback, report technical issues or emerging concerns, and help improve the overall functionality and culture of the site. Discretion, professionalism, and strong communication skills are essential in this role, especially given the real-money nature of stake and the importance of trust and compliance. 4. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? Answer: I want to become a moderator on this chat because I genuinely enjoy engaging with the community and believe in creating a positive, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. Having spent a considerable amount of time on the platform on a regular basis, I understand the dynamics of the chat and the importance of maintaining a respectful and enjoyable environment, especially in a setting where real money is involved. I'm passionate about helping others, answering questions, and ensuring that users have a smooth and safe experience which I can’t do without being a moderator or having a authority to do so. To be honest I believe that moderation is more than just enforcing rules it's about being approachable, fair, and proactive in guiding the community in the right direction from my experience in the India chats, to be honest I guess there are 5-6 moderators out of which only 2 or 3 moderators rest of the moderator are rude to the genuine question of new users or the confused user, I get the point that users spam and it can be irritating sometimes but what about the users who are genuine? and they actually need some guidance, this is one of the main reason to become a moderator. I feel confident in my ability to support the chat effectively and contribute positively to the overall experience. 5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Answer: Yes, I was muted initially when I was new and unfamiliar with the community guidelines. 6.Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Answer: No 7.Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Answer: Yes definitely without any inconvenience. Looking forward for the opportunity to be a moderator. Regards, Modassir Khan

I'm highly engaged with the community, spending 10-12 hours daily in chat, with most of it during night hours. Even when not actively participating, I remain observant, staying attuned to conversations and community dynamics. This consistent presence enables me to stay informed and responsive to community needs. 3. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? The goal of a moderator is to create a safe and enjoyable experience for users in chat and, through that, on the platform. To achieve this, a moderator must actively monitor conversations to ensure users adhere to community guidelines and take necessary actions if someone does not. They should also resolve issues, conflicts, and concerns to the best of their ability, providing accurate knowledge without disseminating incorrect information. To make the chat an enjoyable experience, moderators should actively participate in conversations with users and organize interesting events within their allowed possibilities. I'm eager to take on this new challenge and contribute to the community's growth and well-being. 5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? I've had two instances where I received a mute, but I've learned from them. In one case, I was explaining a topic of rain to a new user and didn't realize I was crossing a specific guideline . It was an honest mistake, and I've since been more mindful of the rules. The second instance was due to an accidental use caps lock, which I didn't intend. Apart from these isolated incidents, I've consistently adhered to the community guidelines and strive to be a respectful and valuable member of the community. 6. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? No, i have never worked as a moderator. Although I'm new to moderation, I'm confident in my ability to quickly learn and excel in this role. KaranThakur Posted May 15, 2025 #474 Posted May 15, 2025 1. KaranThakur102 2. 8-10 hrs. 3. Moderator in any community is responsible for smooth, respectful,on topic conversation and ensures that there is no misbehave in the community. It is responsible for maintaining rules in the community and if someone break the rule it has power to punish or warn the person who break the rule. 4. I spend some time in chat and saw many people using abusive language, fighting, sharing personal details( which can lead to scam ) etc. so I want to maintain rules and wants everyone to communicate normally in the chat. I also broke rules and got banned in past. So I want to tell others not to do same mistake done by me. 5. I had been banned in stake for spamming in past. 6. Yes I am ready to work in night.
j sandeep Posted May 15, 2025 #475 Posted May 15, 2025 (edited) 1) Stake:- Sanduuuu 2)6-10 hours .. sometimes more while gambling . 3)A moderator ensures that the chat remains respectful, smooth, and free from inappropriate behavior. They enforce community guidelines, address issues like spamming, and handle any disputes. The role also involves preventing users from sharing personal information, like social media accounts, contact info, or crypto addresses, and taking necessary actions, such as issuing warnings or bans, to maintain a positive environment. 4)i want to become a moderator because I was once muted for no reason without any warning and when I asked raised a issue they said about spamming (rain farming) which was not my intent and i used to answer peoples questions help them in between but moderator saw as I was abusing the guidelines . I know a moderator has a lot of chaos in chat rooms and he can't specifically see everyone and can't make every decision right 'humans make mistakes'. But I will ensure that this doesn't happen and make sure to help as many as people in chatroom to follow chat rules and make them aware of them by giving warning before taking any big steps . 5)yes , I have been muted a couple times(2-3)..once I was muted when I was not aware of chat rules and i was new on stake and rest one was a mistake and rest i don't remember exactly but i can ensure this won't effect my responsibility or misuse of authority. 6)yes , on discord ensuring a smooth conversation and addressing any issues and solving it and making sure the issue is sloved by me or higher authority person if the issue cannot to solved by me. 7)yes i am well prepared for night shifts.
