Answer: In my Chinese family, a unique Easter tradition is blending the holiday with Qingming Festival, which often falls around the same time. While we enjoy classic Easter egg hunts for the kids, we also honor our ancestors by visiting their graves and paying respect. It's a special balance of celebrating new life and paying respects to our heritage, making our Easter both festive and deeply meaningful.

Every Easter, my family hides personalized eggs around the house—each one has a small handwritten note inside with a compliment or a funny memory about the person who finds it. It’s like an Easter egg hunt mixed with a feel-good scavenger hunt

One quirky Easter tradition in our family is the “Egg Olympics.” After the classic egg hunt, we compete in ridiculous egg-based games: egg bowling (yes, really), egg balancing races, and even an egg catapult challenge using spoons and rubber bands. It’s chaotic, competitive, and full of laughs — and somehow, someone always ends up with egg on their face… literally.
