If there is not some serious cracking down on alt accounts, spam, and passive bs, I don’t think you will find me in chat. I have never called anyone a beggar, or any other name some players have no problem straight callin people out on. Spam is only marginally annoying, but still, spam. I’ve never seen a worse site for passive pestering, but we get around it, just know who not to tip.

Wryy covered this kind of, but because of the rainbot. Not because the most valuable mute coins need to start flyin. 

I don’t know 95% of the names in chat, but I know 90% of them are actively, passively begging, spamming like retards, or just another alt acct with a bunch of letters and numbers thrown together for a username.

And Mods and Support are seemingly ok with it. I know they aren’t, and probably mute and ban far more than is obvious. But letting it slide, even a little, gives them all the room they need to be chat wreckers to the max.

Please stop the madness. Instamute coins, for small infractions, that should wrangler chat back in. Noticeably quick too. I’m almost excited. How to tip mute coinies?!

+1 @badger!!!  As you noted, the rainbot has made this much worse, but the Stake honchoes seem to be in denial about it.  I don't know why they throw so much money at Discord, Instagram and Twitter and let chat go to the spamming alts but whatever, they're rich and I'm not.

I have to agree iv never called anyone out on begging in chat weather passively or been outright ridiculous , and on that note I have never asked for anything in chat either ,

I do my best to ignore them and I can actively see mods send out mutes a lot ,(thanks btw mods your great) not sure if there is much more they can do though ,

but great idea for instamute coins, there could be trigger lines like "can u tip me " "can anyone spare" "who can tip me"

"I want rain" and so on they should get auto muted for sure,  might help , might not , just a thought !

Oh boy Badger - I really agree with this 100%!

Chat has been getting more congested - which is great IF it's true convo-congestion.

But it's mostly just muck, random words, and yep......much much begging to be found. 

I know there's a big job to do for managing chat, etc. But this is a big gap that needs closing asap.

I'm editing my post to clarify - I luvvv our mods and think they are already giving 100%.

My feeling is that this is an issue that needs tending from support/admin - and I'm glad to see that Badgie had the brilliant idea to bring it to their attention via forum post.  Smartie!

Tbh I think this is what they want in some way they are adding these new things to draw in more players which draw in more beggars and whatever else. If they are creating more profit for the site then they are doing what they intend. I also think mods and support are sick of muting people at this point and tend to let stuff slide by because that's literally all they would be doing all day. Eventually you would think they would cut down on the beggars but people like that just make new accounts and do it again which becomes a big loop.

100% agree badger it already at the point that im hardly in chat any more as it is. Even if the users are new to stake thier mist likely not new to chatting on gambling sites no site allows begging. Its so out of controll with it the alts that i recognize very few users anymore and theres very quickly becoming no reason for me to  want any thing to do with a chat that is 95% about begging and trilling latley.

It was so bad yesterday in chat that I  had to contacted support and address the issue.  I have a good idea on a way to slightly minimize the problem  and i shared my idea with support and that is there are a few of us "og players" who are in chat on a regular basis(me for example lol) and have no problem letting the beggers and the noob rainbot lurkers know to stop . The mods are not always in chat and thats fine. So anyway i suggest that there be a  couple of players (not newer players but ones that have put time into this place) to be able to have muting powers to control to outta control crazies in chat.   Im not asking to be a full on mod i just want a few mute coins to pass out every now and then . Badger i totally agree 100% with you sweetness🍭🍬🍫

The spam in my honest opinion, has increased a lot in the past month. Especially on the twitter Giveaways. I saw 2 familiar names on the list of winners. It is terrible that this is happening in the community.

A big +1 I think rainbot rains should be private because no one cares who gets tipped... They all just beg even though it doesnt make any friggin difference...
