williamshennie9 Posted September 28, 2018 #1 Posted September 28, 2018 Hey guys! So I was recently wondering whether people to use the API key, as provided on Stake and primedice, qualify for rains if they use external betting software. I often use the dicebot, by Seuntjie, and I don't seem to get rains when I wager, but when I wager normally on Stake, then I do get rains. It could just be my own imagination, or I could have just got unlucky those few times when I used the dicebot. What do you guys think? Is wagering in 3rd party applications good enough to qualify for rains from our lovely rainbot? Or does this only apply when you actually wager money in Stake (on the actaul Stake website)? I would love to hear an "official" answer, as well as your experiences with getting rains when betting in the dicebot

I'm almost 100% sure they have said that wagering is a requirement, now I just wanna know if wagering outside of Stake counts
Mlc Posted October 3, 2018 #6 Posted October 3, 2018 i too get rains when i play on stake without chatting so i agree its not the chat that qualifies you for a rain. my guess is wagering but not sure

Less than playing on stake, that's for sure, but I did get. I don't think that it has to do with 3rd party applications, but more with the amount you wager and you're active on chat.
trader Posted October 3, 2018 #8 Posted October 3, 2018 i think rain is connected to wagering of the bets as i also not much chatting but playing alot

Was this recently, after the Dicebot update (which now uses an API key instead of a password)?
wry Posted October 3, 2018 #10 Posted October 3, 2018 Rainbot is clearly highly influenced by wagering. That's been pretty well established by the number of threads that have popped up on it. However, the interesting part of your question, is wagering that is done though dicebot not seen by the system remains open though @skywallkee's answer seems to suggest you do. I'm not sure why it wouldn't but then I don't use dicebot. Thanks for asking this question, I hope you get an official response from some authority in the near future.
Philip74 Posted October 3, 2018 #11 Posted October 3, 2018 I am quite certain chatting does not influence the rainbot. For 3 days now I was doing the Dice giveaway challenge wagering the minimum amount and not chatting at all. In these 3 days I got 5 rains today, 3 yesterday and 3 on Monday both small amounts and larger amounts, although I was autobetting minimum 3k Eth. Maybe the bot counts the sum of bets in the hour by each player or something like that and then randomly selects 10 from say the top 100 during that hour.

jinz Posted October 4, 2018 #13 Posted October 4, 2018 I think I don't receive rains while doing the hunt in dice challenge using dicebot. Also the chat seems to not work/flow when I am betting using dicebot, there is a pop up message saying "try again later" something like that while dicebot is rolling. I tried to refresh Stake a few times but still have the same message but when I stopped rolling in dicebot everything went fine. I receive few rains every now and then when doing normal bets without bot even though I am not chatting.

The whole Stake website becomes unusable when the dicebot is running. The chat stops and the whole website is unusable until to stop the dicebot.

Dan Posted October 4, 2018 #16 Posted October 4, 2018 Chat does not influence rainbot. Using dicebot does not change anything. You have the same odds on the platform as you do on dicebot.
chimi08 Posted October 4, 2018 #17 Posted October 4, 2018 I think chatting and waggering has better chances for rains.
godash Posted October 4, 2018 #19 Posted October 4, 2018 I have a some awesome rain, but i must play with platfom to receive rain
