And even on 50 sats, you might make the 1k mark 2 or 3 times out of the 20 daily faucet claims allowed.
lolipant Posted October 4, 2018 #77 Posted October 4, 2018 ^ yeah, but when you factored the probability in, the chance to reached 1k is still only 4.95%, and even then, i see no problem with that, since they can check tip logs and just ban on withdrawal anyway since those are considered abuse 20 daily claims is a poor choice tho, it is make people either stop playing when reached the limit or try to increased the balance the other way, which is worse than just claim faucet and doesn't help people gain confidence to deposit or using the site enough to that point (well, to be honest. when i'm new to these site and hit a limit like that, i close the site and never come back again while forgotten it, which i did to stake at one point, only come back from a mail like "we give 10k sat to anyone, just ask support" and stick to it since then)

This way people won't blow through their 20 claims per day so quickly. the problem is ten minutes is really a long time for such a low amount (when you factored how fast auto-bet works on the site), for example with martingale (sound like a newbie strat to try out the site), people would lose the amount within 3-5 minutes and probably sit there and spam chat, spam forum, or just close the site 10 minutes timer is fit more for a faucet site (which you can collected faucet), not a betting site imo

Think when for example ETH was 1000 and Happy hour come - you can get 20,000 and for 1 hour you can get near 200.000 and then you can play for it as well, as make deposit. And now you can get only 4000 via Happy hour and near 40/000 for 60 min. Its not a good ammount for manual play. So i think everything must be restored-) And farmers must go away!

Even before Stake even opened, the admin talked about wanting to remove the faucet entirely. Staff have many times expressed how bad faucet is for them in chat, and how people were really abusing it hard. They compensate with giveaways and promotions though.

Stake is doing well with it. Happy hours is good also as it promotes the twitter or another social platform. I was surprised and kindly trust the fair of stake when first join the site and know nothing about cryptocurrency. After seeing its working with me thanks to the faucet. And sometimes even some cheap players help me feels exciting while betting, they are most of my viewer of videos and one of my favorite promote is using the faucet as a point to test out the game.

For example they can give new players one day on faucet 20 faucets for 100 satoshi and then give it only for those who made deposit + wager for example 0.001 BTC.

It would be ideal perhaps for there to be a introduction of a level system for faucet claimed size that coincides with total amount wagered perhaps. This can prove to be an attraction and benefit which in turn encourage more players to wager on the site in larger amounts.
