badger Posted October 1, 2018 #1 Posted October 1, 2018 I’m sure it’s been posted before, more than once, but, is there a way to have running totals either by player, or just as a whole, of deposits, tips sent, and tips received? Probably throw in withdrawal totals too. It would be grossly convenient. I could be wrong, but it can’t be that difficult to add...

It would be kind of depressing to look at for the usual player tho, seeing how much they've lost overall. I'm iffy on whether to add such a demoralizing thing or not

I meant, by the total running by player, if you could click a username in the tips received, if it could just show what was received from just them. I was far more interested in the deposit running totals, but why not all of them, you know, in the perfect Stake world. Lol
David Posted October 1, 2018 #5 Posted October 1, 2018 Not sure about accuracy but if you go to https://www.blockchain.com/ and press the search button next to "Data" at the top. You can input a BTC address and it will tell you the total received to that address. Not sure if this is accurate for stake addys tho.. And requires you to have your old addy on hand. Maybe someone good at coding could create a tiplog sum script Hope that helps

The tip, deposit and withdrawal logs are great, all @badger is suggesting is that Stake total them up for us. So how much has a player deposited in total. What are their total tips sent, total tips received. In her second post she elaborates that it would be even nicer if you could see tips sent and received by player. So Badger could go into her tip log and see that she's sent me 5 BTC and then go to her tips received log and see that I've only sent her 5 satoshi. My sense is that the first request is very easy, the second one a little less easy.

Yeah I think what @badger is asking is to see running totals of total deposits, total withdrawals, total tips sent/received etc. over the lifetime of the user's account (so a total of every single deposit/withdrawal/tip that was ever made). This can be helpful if you have sent hundreds of tips, or made hundreds of withdrawals or deposits
Dan Posted October 2, 2018 #12 Posted October 2, 2018 Look i agree it could be a good idea, but its not really that useful to have the running total for tips and deposits. Most of the time its super irrelevant information. It would be also incredibly server intensive to constantly query that information from the database considering how many tips each player makes regularly. One thing i could see as being useful would perhaps being able to filter all your tips to view only those made to a certain player, but unfortunately the way the information is currently handled does not support that kind of functionality.

badger Posted October 3, 2018 Author #15 Posted October 3, 2018 Seems like a somewhat easy addition. Kind of like when you look at the affiliate commission, just the username and how much you’ve earned from their wagering. Nothing fancy. Not critically important.
