Out of the 14 selections, I had already won 13âonly one was left. The final match started, and I needed just that win. Within the first 3 minutes, my team scored and went 1â0 up. But after that, there were no more goals for the entire 90 minutes. The referee added 3 minutes of extra time, and in the 93rd minute, the opposing team scored, making it a draw. Just like that, I lost the whole multi bet at the very last moment. Even though I lost, itâs still the most unforgettable bet of my lifeâturning $0.50 into almost $4,900, but losing it right at the endđ.

However, bookmakers heavily juice the odds for red cards in these fixtures. The real value often lies in looking at referee stats rather than just team animosity. Some refs average over 5 cards a game and won't hesitate to pull a red to regain control, while others prefer to let the game flow, no matter how heated it gets.
