Gambling is simply making what should be a tough decision with ease and placing your hard earned money up to the may take or may give foundation. usually resulting in regret and loss.

Yeah, I agree, it is basically taking on a risk for which you have no real insight into whether it will be profitable or not. Just relying on pure luck.

gambling for me is when you take a chance on unknown results. whatever it may be, doesnt need to be about money. taking a chance on something that may result in favor of you or perhaps not. hoping for the best result, but being aware that youre betting on unknown circumstances,

In life, there are multiple situations that can be called gambling. From picking a spot in the parking lot to staying up late and risk over sleeping in the morning.

But back to gambling. Do you consider games like poker gambling? 90% of poker is skill and knowledge, so is it considered gambling?

When do you call a game gambling and when do you not?

its true in life you dont know whats going happen next . to me as for poker or game which involve money consider as gambling .

In my opinion if you play a game and place a bet on it, it becomes gambling. Any situation in our daily life can be converted into gambling. For example, you can bet with you friend about weather, whether it will rain or not. - you can call this gambling. If you play poker or even blackjack or roulette only for fun not with money, it remains a game only.

Anything where you're taking a risk really. Doesn't have to necessarily be financially incentivised risk either

that is way to vauge and encompases too much imo...

by taking a parking spot in a lot you are gambling with the safety of your vehicle?

i guess one can argue yes.... then in that case life iis always a gamble.... no?
