Rainbot on stake.

Hello guys, we all know the feature which is long added now, the rainbot.

People cry about how it can be abused, how it was a bad idea, but let's remember, it's free money.

So my idea is to change the rainbot to such requirements:At-least 0.5 BTC wagered on an account. (To prevent alts)

Adding a Captcha when there's a rain about to happen. (prevents bots) (Btw, this is fully optional, i doubt stake has a problem with bots)

That's it. Tell me what you think about this.

The rainbot picks random players, so abusing it isn't possible for the regular player on stake. But that being said I still like your idea of the min wagered amount. Not sure if a captcha wouldnt be too annoying o.O

The last I heard who the rainbot randomly selects is already largely driven by wagering, hence my suggestion in chat that people think more of it as a rake back bot than a rainbot.

It all comes down to what you want the rainbot to do, encourage chatting, reward playing, be a draw for new players, reward old players.

Leave the bot alone already. You really can't stop shit content to appear. It was made to show for new users how generous Stake is with giving away free money.

Aaaand don't forget the biggest advantage of regular users "ignore button" (stuff not allowed to use it), so when you see common hate msges in chat hit it and poooof !magic! they are gone and you will never hear that user again. Before i was moded i got pretty huge list there including so called "famous/valueable stakers" and i missing it so much after. Used to read this shit in chat again ;/

Hello, this is not about me being hateful towards the bot, but seeing how many people don't like the way it works. The Captcha part was just a idea, so if people enter to be in the rain, it STILL will be random. Also I don't know what you were on about Owly then, I didn't talk about having any hatred to users, so I don't know what is that "Ignore button" talk about. It's true that it's a rake-back wryy, but it hence abused by alts.

Rainbot is random though and it's from wager and chat. What i know is there are many alts that abuse the rainbot, especially on local channel room.

The only way the rainbot can be abused if if people wager large amounts on various accounts. This could also be to the players detriment, as they could bust in the process. Chatting has no influence on the rainbot.

When @wry said this to me I completely understood.

Rename rainbot, RakeBot.

Eh, it can be exploited, but at the same time, its totally random. If people have enough patience or drive to create so many alts, without 100% chance of even getting rain, eh... i say cheers!

My only problem with the rainbot is that it ruined chat for a lot of regular chatters. All of a sudden chat was flooded with noobs and alts only talking about the rainbot . Yes its nice to get free money but it was nicer to be able to talk in chat without the clutter of crap spam
