drizzy11 Posted December 13, 2025 #1153 Posted December 13, 2025 Tis the night before Christmas, and the house was finally quiet. No laughter, no music, just the glow of a small fire and a heart carrying more weight than it should. The tree was up, but it felt unfinished. So did I. As the flames danced, I made one wish. Not for gifts. Not for miracles. Just for the feeling that someone still remembered me because I've been lonely all my life. Then the fire cracked louder, the room warmed, and for a moment, it felt like Christmas remembered me first. Β Stake: drizzy11Β

gsgshua Posted December 13, 2025 #1157 Posted December 13, 2025 Twas the night before Christmas, and the town of Lakeview was blanketed in snow. Everyone was tucked inside their homes, but there was one house that remained dark. The Hendersons had fallen on hard times, and this Christmas, they couldnβt afford a tree or a feast. But the townspeople had a different idea. Slowly, quietly, they gathered outside their house with bags of groceries, boxes of decorations, and even a fully trimmed tree. When the Hendersons awoke, their home was transformed. A warm meal was waiting for them, and outside, the lights twinkled on their Christmas tree. βItβs a miracle,β Mrs. Henderson whispered. "Itβs Christmas magic,β said Mr. Henderson, as they shared a tearful hug with their neighbors. And in that moment, Lakeview knew that the true spirit of Christmas was found in kindness and community. Yushee Posted December 13, 2025 #1159 Posted December 13, 2025 In the snowy village of Evergreen Hollow, on Christmas Eve, ten-year-old Lila sat alone by the fire. Her father had gone over the mountain for medicine days earlier, but a blizzard trapped himβno one could find him.Peering out the window, Lila spotted a faint red glow in the woods. She followed it to an old man in a green fur-trimmed coat, holding a lantern and pulling an empty sled.βMy fatherβs lost,β she said. The man nodded kindly. βClimb in.βThe sled flew swiftly up the mountain. There, half-buried in snow, lay her shivering father. The stranger lifted him aboard, wrapped him in warm blankets, and glided them home.By morning, her father recovered. The mysterious man had vanished, leaving no tracks.Lila knew then: on the darkest nights, kindness finds its way home, like a lantern in the storm.Merry Christmas. StakeID: yusheeΒ Β

bahihegazi Posted December 13, 2025 #1165 Posted December 13, 2025 Twas the night before Christmas, the snow falling slow, Not a sound in the house, just the fireβs soft glow. The tree stood bright with its lights all aglow, And wishes hung high on the branches below. The children were dreaming of laughter and cheer, Of sleds and of songs and the warmth of the year. When out by the window there came such a sound, A jingle, a shuffle, a step on the ground. I hurried to look, my heart full of cheer, And there by the door stood a stranger so dear. No red coat or sleigh, no reindeer in sight, Just a sack full of smiles and eyes shining bright. He left not a toy, nor candy, nor gold, But moments of joy and stories retold. Then off through the snow he faded from view, Leaving Christmas behind soft, simple, and true.Β Β Stake iD :Β bahihegaziΒ β₯
MMassu Posted December 13, 2025 #1166 Posted December 13, 2025 Picture this, your snuggle in-front of a cozy fireplace, ready to hear a chirstmas tale, "Twas the night before Christmas__..." ... and all I was doing was trying to win the annual family 'Most Festive Sweater' contest. I'd found a vintage monstrosity that didn't just light up; it played a full, tinny rendition of "Jingle Bells" whenever you moved your left arm. It was my guaranteed victory. The problem started when my Aunt Carol asked me to stir her famous Brandy Butter. Now, you need to understand, Carolβs Brandy Butter is about 90% brandy and 10% butter. I leaned over the enormous bowl to demonstrate my sweater's musical capabilities, and that's when it happened. The sweaterβs entire light-up reindeer displayβantlers, nose, and allβdipped right into the brandy-infused dairy. Suddenly, the lights short-circuited. The sweater stopped playing "Jingle Bells" and began vibrating violently, emitting a sound that was a cross between a dying car alarm and a furious turkey call. Then, thanks to the high alcohol content, the reindeer display ignited. I looked like a festive, vibrating, screaming torch. My cousin grabbed the nearest non-flammable liquid, which unfortunately was the family's prized, 50-year-old bottle of port wine, and dumped it all over me. The fire went out, but I was left smelling like a burnt fruitcake, soaking in vintage port, and my sweater was now weeping melted plastic into the Brandy Butter bowl. Aunt Carol sniffed the ruined mixture, looked me dead in the eye, and simply said, "Well, at least it has character now." I didn't win the sweater contest that year, but I did accidentally invent the "Flaming Port-Flavored Brandy Butter." It was a huge hit, proving that all the best Christmas memories involve property damage and mild third-degree burns.
TheBoss10 Posted December 13, 2025 #1167 Posted December 13, 2025 It was a cold December night in Mumbai, and the city was buzzing with last-minute shopping and holiday cheer. I was walking home from work when I noticed a small boy sitting alone on the pavement, staring at the Christmas lights decorating a nearby shop. He didnβt have shoes, and his clothes were thin for the chilly weather. I stopped and asked him if he was okay. He looked up, his eyes wide, and said, βIβve never seen Christmas lights before. Theyβre so beautiful.β I sat down beside him and we talked about Santa, reindeer, and what he wished for this year. He said he just wanted a pair of shoes so he could play football with his friends. I bought him a pair from a nearby shop and wrapped it with some ribbon I had in my bag. His smile lit up the whole street. Before I left, he handed me a tiny, folded piece of paperβa drawing of two people under a Christmas tree, with the words βThank youβ written in shaky handwriting. That night, I realized Christmas isnβt about gifts or parties, but about spreading warmth and kindness, no matter how small the gesture. And every year since, I try to pay that kindness forward. Iamaashu786 Posted December 13, 2025 #1171 Posted December 13, 2025 Christmas is in December. It is a season with many traditions. People think about family, friends, and giving. Most families put up a tree, hang decorations, and give gifts. Christmas Eve is December 24th. It is the night before Christmas. It is a great time to sing carols. Will you remember to put out milk and cookies for Santa? Christmas Day is December 25th. Wake up early. Then you can run to open the presents under the tree. There is going to be a lot of food to eat today! It is a time to spend with family and people you love.
Geofem Posted December 13, 2025 #1172 Posted December 13, 2025 A Christmas Iβll Never Forget Β One Christmas, things were really tight at home. The year had been difficult, and there wasnβt much money for gifts or celebrations. Still, my family decided that Christmas wouldnβt pass without joy. Β On Christmas Eve, we gathered in the living room with just one small tree, decorated with handmade ornaments and old lights that barely worked. Instead of expensive gifts, we wrote letters to each other, sharing what we appreciated most. Reading those letters brought laughter, tears, and a feeling of togetherness I had never experienced before. Β Later that night, there was a knock on the door. A neighbor we barely knew had brought over a small box of food and a simple card that read, βNo one should be alone or hungry at Christmas.β That moment reminded me that kindness doesnβt need to be loud or expensive. Kindness needs to be sincere. Β That Christmas taught me something important. Β Joy isnβt found in whatβs under the tree, but in the people around it. Even now, whenever Christmas comes around, I remember that night and try to pass on the same kindness that once found its way to my door. The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of compassion and kindness.Β
