On average, I spend about 8 to 10 hours daily active across the platform, tracking active chats, community discussions, and keeping an eye on the ecosystem. 3. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? A moderator’s job is to maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for the community. This means enforcing chat rules constructively, preventing spam, phishing, and toxicity, while actively helping players with basic guidance. It’s about keeping the chat vibrant and engaging without losing operational control. 4. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? As an active 8-year iGaming and crypto power-user, I practically live in this ecosystem. I understand player psychology, the slang, and the community dynamics inside out. I want to use my experience to give back to the community, keep the vibe positive, and ensure Stake remains the gold standard for player chat experiences. 5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Yes, I was once mistakenly banned due to a minor misunderstanding with a moderator. However, it was quickly cleared up once the context was understood. Other than that isolated incident, I have a clean track record, deeply respect community guidelines, and always prefer leading by example. 6. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? While I haven't held an official "Moderator" title on another iGaming forum, I have extensive experience in high-volume, high-pressure user support environments handling real-time crisis management, de-escalating tense situations, and managing community interactions successfully. 7. Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Absolutely. Due to my personal schedule, I am highly flexible and actually prefer late-night or graveyard shifts. I am fully prepared to keep the chat safe and active during peak night hours.
TheHorkios Posted June 24 #353 Posted June 24 What is your Stake username? TheHorkios How much time on average do you spend on chat every day? On average, I spend around 10–12 hours per day actively using Stake and participating in the forum. I'm not someone who constantly sends messages, but I closely follow the chat and discussions and contribute whenever necessary. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? A moderator's role is to help maintain a friendly, fair, and welcoming environment for all users. This includes enforcing chat rules, assisting users when needed, preventing spam, handling disruptive behavior, and ensuring conversations remain respectful. A good moderator should be active, impartial, patient, and able to represent Stake professionally within the community. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? I already spend a significant part of my day on Stake and within the Stake community. Over time, I've become familiar with both the platform and the expectations of the community. Becoming a moderator would allow me to contribute more directly by helping maintain a positive chat environment and assisting users whenever possible. Since I am already an active member of the community, I believe I can use my experience and availability to support both players and the Stake team in a productive way. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? I have only been muted once. It happened because I accidentally forgot to include the /bet command while checking sports IDs, which resulted in several messages appearing similar to spam. A moderator muted me for 5 minutes, and that was resolved immediately. Other than that, I have never received any warnings, mutes, or bans. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Yes. For approximately six years, I have been actively involved in the Web3 and cryptocurrency space. During that time, I worked as both a moderator and community manager for various blockchain and crypto-related projects. If needed, I can provide more detailed information regarding my previous experience. Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Yes, absolutely. My schedule is flexible, and I am comfortable working night shifts. Being available during nighttime hours would not be a problem for me.
