Why is the $100,000 freeroll filling up while registration isn’t open?

I could barely join some of the 20k because the poker app couldn’t handle the traffic. I hoped I would have a chance for this last 100k (TO Join Not To WIN :))), but some players can already register.

Most likely I won’t be able to join because the app won’t work, but still…

Why can some register in advance?
